It's a simple moment, but its what makes being a chef so great when you can put your hard work into something beautiful. He may have not put his heart out in the dish, but its a combination of skill, knowledge and confidence that makes that cake mean something more. But it's also a good reminder that a chef doesn't cook to please everyone, but chooses to cook his best to please someone.
Your comment is complete nonsense, and the exact opposite of what Micheline level chefs actually work for. It has nothing to do with pleasing a customer. You've absolutely missed the entire point of the movie.
Huh? There is a ton of fab movies with him out there. Check for Daniel Bruehl, he is native german / spanish speaker. Most of his movies should have english subs.
It kind of has a dream like quality or something from a children's story. I'm sure the little girl had images of the "Ogre" in her head and now she's in his lair. He serves her cake but she can't resist standing up to him.
So he makes this special elegant cake and brings it to the girl for her birthday. You'd think he's be sort of happy or pleased or want to help make this a joyful occasion instead of scowling as he brings it out. No wonder she called him an ogre.
Even if he is the lion of his den, finally at the mercy of an 8 yr old to judge his skills...not fair..like the food critic from ratatouille puts in his review in the end...SAD..felt sad for the chef here
So Michelin star chefs as played by Bradley cooper are known for being intense and demanding of line cooks. One of those line cooks is the girls mother . Who was not able to celebrate her daughters birthday because she had to come and work at his restaurant. So she finds a way to have her daughter be there with her even though she could not have the day off. The mother/cook would come home telling stories about the head chef describing him as a mean old ogre. And this is the first interaction between the two characters.
Zemo just like: Complete. Comrehensive. It truly captures the birthday experience.
😂
You’re out of line but you’re right
Lmfao
then the avengers drop an entire city on her daughter
144p, we meet again
🤣🤣🤣💀💀
😂
🎶Hello blurriness my old friend. I’ve come to watch with you again🎶
How is this not the top comment?
Its playing in 260 for me.. maybe your computer sucks xD
Probably a $200 cake
Girl: I’ve had bettaa
That slice alone was 200
Probably cost nothing bc of Zemo's employment and relationship with the Chef
@@angellive3 you are the guy from the party, the fun guy :)
@@sandorcsurgay8003 why yes. Thank you
@@angellive3 of course it cost nothing... it was based off of what he would charge customers for it lol.

Rush is a good one.
Ladies and Gentlemen... we got him
lmao
I'm a chef and I would take a child's honest opinion over a adult's looking to just complain anyday.
You are not a chef
yeah you're no chef.
a child's pallete is not something to go on. They would love to have skittles as a cereal lol
when the footage is irresistable to watch nobody will complain about the resolution till the end of the video
I was so scared he was gonna smash that cake on her
😂😂😂😂
Damn I cant stop imagining him just flipping the cake into her face after she says I've had better 😂😂😂😂
He should smashed the 🎂 🥮 🍥 🥞!
Right. Especially with the mellow background music.
Goes full Joe Pesci: "You little Ju-muddA fucka, you!"
An absolute master piece by Bradley cooper
i see pedos everywhere
No clue why i love this scene so much, none at all.
It kind of has a dream like quality or something from a children's story. I'm sure the little girl had images of the "Ogre" in her head and now she's in his lair. He serves her cake but she can't resist standing up to him.
She's biased with her opinion instead of logic. But deep down she's knows it's the best cake she's ever had. Great scene by the way.
She has a good pallet because her mom makes her taste good
Food*
In other words, she’s just a kid 😂
@@marcussavina2726 That one letter made it go from a good sentence, to the FBI knocking at your door, lmao.
I don't think so. She probably thinking of ice cream, hamburgers, and crispy fried chicken.
0:11 baked Alaska cake is very hard to make, can watch masterchef challenge & taste also very amazing. 🍰
One of my favorite scenes! The David says escargot is old fashion scene is great too!
''I've had better, go get me a caterpillar cake''
With fruit slice candy eyes!
#freecuthbert
This is one of Brad Coopers best. This scene is particularly wonderful. The girl is just so adorable.
Not one bit. A girl is a miscast.
His name is Bradley.
Girl: "I had bettaa"
Dad: "Annnd i'm jobless now...Thank you sweetie, you just got me fired. Fun fact, you're adopted."
Dad??!
Watch the movie
he isn't her dad, you idiot 😂
Nothing is more brutally honest than a child. They're as brutally honest as a drunk person without the alcohol.
Moving to add "Youth" as a Schedule 1 Narcotic, all in favor?
People at the next table looking at them like wtf?! o_O 😂😂😂
You can make out more than three people?
Honestly the interaction was bit.. weird. If that child was an adult, this would’ve been considered hard core flirting.
can we just admit one thing - that girl for her age HAS SO MUCH HAIR
too much
This movie is SOO GOOD.
"hi my name is chris hansen"
Bro this comment made me holler 😂😂😂
Oh I know who you are. I watch you all the time. But you see I calls you Chris Handsome.
I hate the way she eats that cake
Tim Schäfer i know, right? I mean she's probably old enough to know how to grab a fucking fork.
I think that's a cute way to hold the fork. Not to mention about table mannerism, it's a cute one.
Tim Schäfer u pissed at a child eating way of using fork?
i know full grown adults that still eat like that, bugs the neck out of me.
She's a little kid, my kid sister used to eat like that all the time.
Underrated film
The human heart and the human brain each have their own memories.

Because you can solve any problem with a really nice restaurant dish
So, which pixel was the cake?
Great movie
so this is another Gordon-type chef in a movie... love this movie btw.
even at this resolution that cake looks dry as hell
If the chef is that hot, I will complain about the food when I eat there every time.
Such a great film
My piece would've been half the cake 🤣
The better one she's had before: $3 woolies mud cake 👌
Ok this scene is great and all but the fork screech sound on the plate IS NOT!
We all clicked for Zemo
lol, i did for Tony Balerdi.

Stabbing that fork into the plate and scraping it ughhhh that went through me

is that a baki reference?
First impression as a filmmaker: this is shot on some super expensive lens! Everything is blurry!
