Called out to a regular customer, there's 3 properties. Funny how I turn up to job ( do it and it wasn't the hardest unblock) to be told on the way out by a Tennant, ' hope you have done a better job than the other 3 (engineers) who have been this week?
No loyalty is there.

Yes i did hear the sound of success 👍. The stuck rods... I have got them out once before with a rag pull on the rods. Twist around and get a grip. But that was only 2 rods - bit easier.

Like your recent Swimming Pool job, it would appear that their is at least one rival cowboy company that operates on your patch...are people using them because they are undercutting you price wise?
Pay peanuts and all that....a false economy when customers have to call you out anyway for your experience and knowledge to sort out the mess the cowboys have left behind..
You should add the advertising slogan "Dont call the rest, call the best" 👍

Customer got what they deserved for being disloyal, they tried to cheap out on it and they got a moron who left his rods behind him rather than calling a pro like you in the first place, glad you got it sorted though

The only thing that fixes the knee is replacing the joint. I had both of mine done.

When you are not one hundred percent sure which way the drain runs , even feeling with the plunger , once it's cleared rather than memorise the flow do you ever mark the direction for the next time ?

You would have pulled them out normally on a callout, fixed price , but you left them there,all be it you were the 4th person called and found the problem that the rest had failed on, can’t understand why you didn’t retrieve the rods not a problem for you normally Tony ?

I didn't retrieve them because it's a seperate job on a commercial. AND a big and is I needed to make it clear to agent why the drain was blocking ( evidence). Missed by the others.
