Same. Those 3 days of continuous rain when he passed were torture and yet soothingly fitting.
My son turned me on to Mac a couple of years ago. It's absolutely heartbreaking to think of where he would be now. 😭
But, I think he wants us to, yeah, give him his respect but not get too caught up in his death and miss the message, ya know?

Mac miller is one of my favorite hip hop artists out of all time and the different eras. Probably the only rapper whose death i truly felt in my soul man. It still catches me hearing his voice cause of the unbelievable potebtial as a musical act that we missed out on. I been linding feeling it recently in my life and this song is kinda getting to me thanks so much knox for finally taking the time to get to mac man i wish youd go through more of his collection. Him and kid cudi are the two artists that have made going through anxiety and depression possible to live with.

Would love for you to do more Mac Miller reactions. All of his albums are different and go from frat rap, to psychedelic rap, to jazzy rap and singing, to this more folk rap. Watching the evolution is something to behold and you can tell he loved music and was always trying to push him self further to evolve as an artist.

Mac Miller was so different from every rapper out there but his genuine love for music is what made him special. He cared about the world and people in general. When he passed it really broke my heart and my own perception on getting through depression and getting out of our own way, especially when he was right there but couldnt push through. Its so difficult when you’re in your own head 24/7, and Mac Miller knew how to make you feel like you’re not alone. Im sorry to hear about your grandfather, he lives through you and the rest of your family forever.
