Nice review Mike and Lady Kath. Thanks Thermalright for sending it for review. I really like your products. Been using them for years. I bet if Intel would really take the time to re-design the profile of their fan blades...their coolers might be hugely quieter at higher speeds? I'm thinking more thinner blades? I do like the TF7 paste, but it is a bit thicker to spread. That's why I use TF4. Good paste and easier to apply. Take care guys. Cheers.
cheers RIck and thanks for the tf4, thermalright are doing many good things which the exception of the phantom spirit 120 evo that seems to be pushing the usual good prices to noctua levels
@@mikesunboxing I just realized that I've been a subscriber for at least 2 1/2 years. No plans on going anytime soon. I really do appreciate all the time and hard work You and Lady Kath do for all of us. So from the bottom my heart I say Thank You so much. Cheers
been using this cooler on a old dell optiplex 3020 ssf that i have fitted a xeon E3-1231 v3 tho i needed better cooling as under hard loads gaming was seeing temps hitting 84c and was pulling the boost clocks down 3.4ghz but after upgrading to the AXP x47 now im seeing temps only upto 71c and holding the 3.8ghz boost clocks fine still after hours of gaming with a rx 6400 low profile
@12:10 why do you have the system on with the m.2 unscrewed? Really good, liked this a lot. Came here to know if it came with thermal paste and watched all the video
These are grey, same with the AKSE RGB. The Burst Assassin is an extremely dark grey almost black and then the fan packs are pure black. All can daisy chain RGB and PWm.
What a great cooler, so fine yet so effective👍🐈 I hear you re vrms but even an itx case will have some extra fan(s) which surely would help reduce vrm temps. Thanks Mike and Kath for reviewing. Piqued my interest in itx build with such neat setup👍🐈
Hey Mike, sorry again 😅,just one little question, what is the “idle” temps for R7 7700X? My ones is between 47-50 on idle, even with the fans on 100% don’t go below 45 degrees,I’m using the ATC800
Burst Assasin ~£18 for "105w" AM4 and Assassin King SE ~£16 for "65w" - both are ridiculously good value for putting in builds. Add 3 pack of their RGB TL-C12C-S for ~£12 and daisy chain the lot off one header for the youngster builds.

@@rickh8380 That is so kind of you and we appreciate the support you give to the Channel 🙂
Thanks for your review! Just picked up a full copper with a noctua A9x14 fan and it is unreal how it tamed a 7800x3d!
Very nice! that is pretty impressive
The noise levels is amazing! I was not expecting this
it is a very quiet cooler

Great video, Mike! Would you consider making step by step tutorials of building both AMD and Intel based PC's for beginners?
Great suggestion!

Really good, liked this a lot. Came here to know if it came with thermal paste and watched all the video
the m.2 screw is only for holding it in place, this was just a test bed so i didn't screw it in
Mike you're a legend - I'm always interested in the budget gems I see and somehow you've always got a video on it. ❤❤
thanks! budget value products are my favourite, why pay more?
Nice review and a nice price Mike - I thought you would be going for white one ,thanks Mike
i went with the cheapest as it likely won't be seen in the rig it is planned to go into
I know ,but i also know you have a soft spot for all white look ..

I like the military grey Fan on it. looks good 😀
Well more like Navi grey. maybe 😀
it is supposed to be grey, the camera lies! it adds on a few pounds of weight as well :-)
These are grey, same with the AKSE RGB. The Burst Assassin is an extremely dark grey almost black and then the fan packs are pure black. All can daisy chain RGB and PWm.
Love this little cooler!
it is cute and cheap. i like!
hi Mike, this axp is amazing got this one and x36, maybe you need to try the full copper version, i think both better than noctua l9
might take a look at that one at some point

itx can be so good, but getting it right can be complicated or expensive or both :-)

With the pbo on that is probably about right depending on the ambient room temp and the case. About 40c here is quite normal
@@mikesunboxing yes,PBO on -20 locked 85w and 85 degrees maximum,I used ur video for Ryzen 7000
Hope Thermalright send you the new line of PSUs from TG-850 and up to test.
that would be very cool, thermalright are all right in my book
What is idle tempeture
mid thirties from memory

yep all very good effective stuff
I'll probably get that cooler to cool a 4600g on an itx mb. I like thermalright cooler for their price/performance ratio.
it will work great with that, and very cost effective
Eh why not do the best variant aka full copper version
because the increase in price for the full copper is dramatic and unnecessary for my application
@@mikesunboxing its not that big of a difference , the difference in performance is a class apart though.
@@mikesunboxing Me gustaria saber si es interesante la version de cobre , nadie a comparado la version normal vs cobre ...
I bought it. buyer beware it doesn't work with the back plate on the Asrock a620i motherboard.
Intel should just name next platform LGA 1800 pls we so done with confusion
Current Amazon UK price is now £28.74 sadly... 😦
Check other listings. £16.29 from one store or £18.39 with a 5% voucher from another. Maybe it's prime only pricing.
they do fluctuate a lot sadly
clicking other sellers or searching by part number sometimes brings up better results
@@fracturedlife1393Thanks yeah I picked one up! 👍
Just got it new for $1
done well there
