    I typically carry a survival style knife as my primary deer hunting knife. However I also believe in having a multi tool and folding saw on me too 🇺🇸 🇳🇿

    IMO, Survival Knife has to be Full/Fixed Tang. Folders are great for EDC

    I get the feeling that a lot of people who buy these rambo-style knives never take them outside of their backyard. Nothing wrong with that of course but people who really are out there in nature typically have more nimble knives, IMO.

    If you go out in nature where you could get yourself into a real survival situation you should have more than a knife on you -- an axe/hatchet/saw -- if you have those in your backpack then a beefy "survival" knife is utterly redundant.
