@@markfairhurst6186 At least you could. So many people telling my I have a hole in my exhaust. Did they not see the bit where the car was not moving and the engine was still running fast.
I love your videos,I was born in Whitby. My dad was one of the men stranded in fylingdales due to snow storm in 1963. That’s when he decided we should move to Australia sadly we did, I hated it and returned as an adult. I live in Cheshire now returning to Whitby where I can,as I’m coming up to 70 early next year my heart wants to come home . One day I know I will I know it,it’s in my blood.thank you for such beautiful videos Maureen
Thank you for sharing this lovely video 👌🏻. We love Whitby and all surrounding villages beautiful places indeed been visiting goathland beck hole and many other villages for many a year. Nice bit of editing there too with the sound effects 👌🏻 Looking forward to your next one ✊🏻.
We love Whitby, only 6 months to wait until a week in Sandsend, our favourite holiday spot there. Also loved the soundtrack this morning ❤ going to listen to more of Cody’s music today, perfect Sunday vibes, thank you
Absolutely stunning providing a relaxing start to a wet Sunday morning. Perfect choice of music too. Heading that way today but think I’ll stick to main roads..❤
Wow such a beautiful video amazing views thank for taking us on this spectacular ride through the moors , please do more like this … it was so relaxing and I loved the music too … excellent video work … best Whitby RUclips channel ever thank you 🙏
Hi There, I get the Music from Epidemic sound. Think it's about £12 a month. I dont like to use music too often but had no other option as the sound from the camera was non existent.
The sound is not mine in this video. The whole soundtrack is off Epidemic Sound. If you listen carefully I think it changes from a Hyundai with Blowing Exhaust to a Dodge 4x4. With regards to the proximity of the critter. I cropped well into the video so you could get a good look at it. The Cameras 8k and 360 degrees so I can crop very tightly.
I was hoping you were going to go down the hill and up again to Levisham. We holiday there every year in August. Beautiful place. We always wondered what the roads were like in winter.
Just watched the Pickering to goathland video, I must say I thought it was very dangerous sitting on the roof, mind if as think it is a Skoda it will be as tough as old boots…love driving up & down the A169……..
Yes. From Harrisons Garage In Whitby. Not too pricey either. They work really well but you got to remember to not get too complacent. They do have their limitations.
1. I've got 8k to play with and a 360 degree lens. 2. If I crop in I can make it look like Im in the gritter. 3. If I crop out I can make it look like Im a mile away from the gritter.
Non of the sounds in this video are real.
I could tell

I wonder if your dad knew my father as he was at the base at the same time.
@ maybe he did? My dad was James chambers
Wonderful memories of the many times driving that road, though never in snow! Beautiful video.
Yet again excellent photography. My favourite area to ride my royal enfield. It was stunning in the snow, so tranquil.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Gina, I have another already filmed for next week. It's Goathland To Lealholm through The Esk Valley.
A nice relaxing drive (well, for us viewers anyway! 😂), fantastic scenery! Thanks Glenn! 😊👍

Stunningly beautiful ❤❤
Thankyou Amanda.
I need one of your new books ❤ Coming to Whitby 4th December am I able to collect one from you ? 😊😊
Cracking footage mate, always liked NYM. Just returned from Torridon in Scotland and lots of snow up there.👍
Lucky you I bet it was very scenic up there. Me and My Son went as as Applecross in Summer.
@thewhitbyphotographer Went to Bealach na Ba summit on Applecross doing a walk. Nice area.
Pity you lost the sound. I enjoy hearing your comments and observations 🙂but I have to say, the music that you chose for this was really lovely.
Cheers Margaret. It's just when the camera is outside the car I cant use the audio. Ill be back with my sarcastic comments in the next video :)
Lovely winter scenes there Glenn 🤩🤩 Can you please let me know what the soundtrack you used ? It was lovely! xx

So much for storm Bert, 60 miles north and we have light cloud and warm temperatures.
No snow on the Northumberland coast.
Gee whizz, that snowplough, too close for comfort. I think your exhaust has gone. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive. 👍👍👍 Music ❤❤❤

Not sure why I didnt. I went last winter for sure. I'll see if I can find you the video. I went to The train station and flew the drone last winter.
Theres some drone footage in this one.

Remember when you were a kid and played for hours in it.
It snowed in staithes and layed somehow
Seems that Whitby is about the only place it rained.
Ah, I’ve just read your answer to sound & music question, so basically you are a hologram!!!
The only thing real in that video is what you see. No sound is real.
When next in whitby I shall look out for you, mind you never seen Simon yet!,,
I seem to bump into Simon everyday I go into town. Hes always laughing.
You got a bit too close to the Gritter!!
