Great video Glenn We were up there about 11:30-12noon walking the huskies again (they love it). We parked at the lower car park, about 100yds further on and there were toboggans there as well 😅. Got to try the cafe at fryup for sure. Cheers mate and keep up the great work.
Hello glen how are you and your family happy new year to you all love your vidio of snowy Whitby hope that you had a good Christmas and New year best wishes take care stay safe from Lynn x ❤😅😅
The faversham arms do the best scampi and chips in the area ,better than Blakey ridge ,always call in on a Sunday after been out on the motorbike ,have heard their breakfasts are one of the best for people who stay at the faversham, chips are proper chips ,enjoyed the video ,
You are correct my friend. Cold off the continent is what we need. We can get snow off a Northerly but often the temps are so up and down it doesnt last. A wind with east in it, be that NE, SE, Or Straight East. That doesnt mean every time it's easterly it snows. It also need a pool of cold air to be sat over the continent, and then get dragged in.
Whitby sounds like Kent - a bit of snow during the evening yesterday, gone before breakfast. Today it has been warm, and wet, I went out, took no photographs and worked up a sweat easily as its very warm. Roads across the moors and around Lealholm looked nice.
Looked lovely out there Glenn, although i haven't heard anyone i know today (and i know a lot of people around the country) say that they had anything significant snow wise Thx for the vid 😽P.S i usually come up in your comments as Chris Fulthorpe but i have changed it 🙂
I swear if we all listened to msm, none of us would ever leave the house lol. A lof of places across the country have only had a slight dusting of snow. If we had snow like they do in Canada, people would have something to moan about.
Have to agree with you about the Lion. Me and the wife have been going there for years and never had a bad meal yet. They do decent ale in there as well..plus its dog friendly..bonus.
Great video Glenn love my trips with you in the snow and the interesting things you tell us. 😊
Great video made a nice trip back home. Loved the black and white pigs and the ducks and geese on the frozen ponds. All takes me back. The rooks too.
Thanks Paul.
Fantastic video very beautiful keep up the snow chasing 👍⛄
Great video Glenn

No Problem. Fryup Ccyle hub is perfect on days like today. The Log Burner is awesome. Think I may pay them another visit tomorrow ;)
Nice job, thanks again.

Just mild, wet, and windy in Essex! We did have some rough seas though! 😂🌊
Good job again and nice to see the white stuff.❄❄
Great footage as always, thanks for braving the snow - personally I'd have had Lunch at the Lion & hoped to get snowed in!
The little pigs are beautiful. Such a sad fate awaiting them 😢 Enjoyed your video, thank you. Happy New Year.
Blakey Ridge and Tan Hill..... Popular spots to be snowed in for 3 days or more....
Great video, thanks.

Obviously you have never had scampi at Wass. Best in the country according to James Martin
Plenty of snow here in consett County Durham . You need an easterly wind for proper snow in Whitby

Cheers Chris. Dont think there was any great amount of snow last night, but I believe Harrogate area has had a right pasting tonight.

Most definitely. It was horrid cold out there in the wind.
U wouldn't know it's snowed in Egton, all completely gone. Great video 😊
Yeah been out that way today. No snow left. But it's a white out at Blakey again.
I'm staying in warm just in case 😂
