@@randomstuffandye they got original fullmetal alchemist and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. keep in mind that those are not a season 1 and season 2, but a 2 different story and got 2 different ending. fma 03 is original story more detailed but not same like manga. fma brotherhood is the fully manga base anime and got different ending also if you watch booth, you can tell that they skip so much stuff in fma 03 in fma brotherhood and jump into another scene that fma 03 didnt have

Japanese musicians have a wondrous way of moving me deeply without my even knowing what the singers are singing about. As for AKG, they have this extra sincerity transported through the sounds they make. This song in particular really makes me feel.
I’m so confident in this band that I literally just added all their songs to my playlist without listening to them. I’ve never heard a bad song from them, and everyone I’ve ever shows has said they are amazing as well.

Honestly this band kills it every time like the vocals and the instruments it's as if the band members have an age a day since they started and I'm just talking like their talent shines through every time they do a song which is one of the reasons I love this band
It was so amazing when they switched to this for the OP, 6 or 8 episodes from the finale, and the lyrics caused everything to click. Erase and rewrite the composition of your life and the world around you. Before the title aired for that episode there was a little quip on the title card: It is not the spoon that bends but your mind. After that trans[mutation]ition you finally get to see how Roy mustang fits in, I don't wanna spoil the end because its a culmination of 51 episodes, you'd be silly not to watch it, and if you already have you don't need me to tell you, but everything aligns with that theme in a harmony that resonates deeply with my soul; It's a masterpiece of storytelling.
Daniel some of the first couple filler episodes were a lil unnecessary. Like the forgers love or phantom thief but after those it gets soooooo much better.
As kids/teens, we weren't over-thinking or over-analyzing shows/ media for things like characters, whimsy, magic, writing, creativity, emotions, comedic writing, heart, soul, mean-spiritedness, etc., we were just "in the moment" and blindly enjoying the show, ya know?

I forgot what an emotional powerhouse this song is. I first heard it in FMA '03, which had so many emotional parallels to my own life, namely losing a parent at a young age. When I got to the final arc and i heard this song play in the intro, the emotional urgency vibed with me immediately. Then I saw the title. I really ought to read the translated lyrics to see if it matches up, but that was enough to identify a deep-seeded feeling inside of me; I wanted to rewrite my life for a better future. And now that I'm a parent, that sentiment is more impactful than ever.

FMA 2003 is such a masterpiece only to be overshadowned by another masterpiece which is FMA Brotherhood. This is FMA 2003 best opening too in my opinion.

The albums Hokai Amp and Sol-Fa are both f*cking fire. I remember I was listening to a few of their songs that weren't featured on anime (as far as I know. I didn't know this one was on an anime) when I was dating a girl from Japan back in '05 and she never heard of this group. This was one of her favorite groups for a very long time, which says a lot as she was particular about the music she would listen to (she loves Hikki-chan, Shiina Ringo, Death Cab/Postal Service, 30 Seconds, Kick the Can Crew, l'arc en ciel, M-Flo, etc...). She asked me who this was and I told her. She listened to a few songs from them and told me they're very good. Kinda surprised I introduced her to this group, but I suppose someone has to introduce something to someone at some point, right? I haven't heard any of their more recent work, so I need to get on that.

Ok, for the final opening of Naruto Shippuden, they NEED to find Asian Kung Fu Generation. I feel this was a perfect final opening for FMA. Not only it mellow sound but it's message. To rewrite everything. Basically, it's kinda what Ed and Al were trying to do, correct, or "rewrite" their mistakes.
When I think back to those days tuning into Adult Swim in middle school late at night, watching anime like FMA, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL... This is the song that I think of. Those days will always be precious to me.

They aren't really a "boy band". In that case, Linkin Park is a boy band, AC/DC is a boy band, and Disturbed is a boy band. I'd say a boy band is like One Direction. This is way better than one direction.

this band has at last one music in every anime from my childhood that is a masterpiece, when i listen to them give me chills and so much nostalgia . thank you ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION for the memories and good feeling only music can bring back to us.
I fell in love with this FMA op back in 2010. I felt so elated when I first listened to it, and still do to this day. It’s one of my favorite openings along with Melissa and SID’s Rain.

It was so amazing when they switched to this for the OP, 6 or 8 episodes from the finale, and the lyrics caused everything to click. Erase and rewrite the composition of your life and the world around you. Before the title aired for that episode there was a little quip on the title card: It is not the spoon that bends but your mind. After that trans[mutation]ition you finally get to see how Roy mustang fits in, I don't wanna spoil the end because its a culmination of 51 episodes, you'd be silly not to watch it, and if you already have you don't need me to tell you, but everything aligns with that theme in a harmony that resonates deeply with my soul; It's a masterpiece of storytelling.
I can imagine that xDD I've watched FMA Brotherhood but not the original. Going to watch the original soon.
Daniel some of the first couple filler episodes were a lil unnecessary. Like the forgers love or phantom thief but after those it gets soooooo much better.

I forgot what an emotional powerhouse this song is. I first heard it in FMA '03, which had so many emotional parallels to my own life, namely losing a parent at a young age. When I got to the final arc and i heard this song play in the intro, the emotional urgency vibed with me immediately. Then I saw the title. I really ought to read the translated lyrics to see if it matches up, but that was enough to identify a deep-seeded feeling inside of me; I wanted to rewrite my life for a better future. And now that I'm a parent, that sentiment is more impactful than ever.

The albums Hokai Amp and Sol-Fa are both f*cking fire. I remember I was listening to a few of their songs that weren't featured on anime (as far as I know. I didn't know this one was on an anime) when I was dating a girl from Japan back in '05 and she never heard of this group. This was one of her favorite groups for a very long time, which says a lot as she was particular about the music she would listen to (she loves Hikki-chan, Shiina Ringo, Death Cab/Postal Service, 30 Seconds, Kick the Can Crew, l'arc en ciel, M-Flo, etc...). She asked me who this was and I told her. She listened to a few songs from them and told me they're very good. Kinda surprised I introduced her to this group, but I suppose someone has to introduce something to someone at some point, right?
I haven't heard any of their more recent work, so I need to get on that.

diegox641 si, brotherhood fue la mejor ( en especial por pride) serie de fma y una de mis series favoritas pero el ultimo opening del anime del 2003 fue el mejor de ambas series y el segundo mejor (segun yo) opening fma fue el cuarto opening del brotherhood

Ok, for the final opening of Naruto Shippuden, they NEED to find Asian Kung Fu Generation. I feel this was a perfect final opening for FMA. Not only it mellow sound but it's message. To rewrite everything. Basically, it's kinda what Ed and Al were trying to do, correct, or "rewrite" their mistakes.
