When I was kindergarten, this fifth grader guy named Victor and his sister used to throw me off the hill during recess after all the other teachers and students went inside. They grab me by my head, shoulders, and by legs. Next, they swung me back and forth to build momentum and then tossed me down to the playground area with the gravel chips. That is only one encounter with bullies in this life. My entire life was me being raised with anger and hatred for everyone. I hated the middle/high school I went to. It was a small school with an annoying female name Maryam Mir Arshad. I know her facebook account. The school had no opportunities. I was the fastest id there, but there were no sports. Then I meet a WORSE female at the community college I went to. I talked with her from Spring 2010 to Spring 2011. Worst time of my life. She was 37 to 38 at the time. I don't believe in age. It's only numbers, but if you are into that sort of thing, I am 31 now. I stay young. I still do two finger push ups and run faster than ever. This is the matrix. I graduated with my bachelor's in December 2018 after wasting ten years going to school because my parents told me to focus on school and not work while I was in school. I should have never listened to them because now I am stuck here with them. After I graduated, I did a one month contract at Brazen in 2019. Then Pixar Animation Studios contacted me while my contracting was ending, and I did the internship in Summer 2019 in the beautiful Bay Area. The most amazing place I have eve been to. I never thought I would ever to see such a place considering where I grew up and how I was treated. Everyone there was cool. It really surprised me and I did not want to leave that place. Now I am stuck in boring Texas with no job and not making any money, and I am trying to animate an Elsa project right now. I had no job during a virus apocalypse in 2020.

The message this music video pass is so great and important. A lot of people in the world has the potential or has some kind of "power" like this guy who has wings but like him hides his "wings" because he's afraid of what people would think about him. Renan Ferreira I saw something similar in the video where he sees people walking down the street with fake wings like his. The two groups he saw were young children and what i believe to be delinquents. I believe this to mean that the only people who could want what he has are young, naive children or odd people considered weird and freakish by society. Just a thought.

i usually skip animes openings but when Bleach showed off with a new opening called "After Dark" i coud'nt skip that. That drum was just amazing. That guitar, that bass, that lyrics... and because of that i became a huge fan of akijan and a bigger fan of Bleach. Years after this i only have to say Thanks. I've watched over 1500+ animes in the last 20 years and bleach is one of those big animes that I've watched that people seem to underestimate I watched bleach when I was 15 now im 24, And this song and Kung fu generation are two things I will never ever forget. Thankyou for the memories, I love this so much. Animes are a blessing.
Glad to see I wasn't the only to say this was the best opening for Bleach. The song, the animation, and the overall conflict with Orihime being "taken" and Ichigo and the others actually going to get her back, everything just fit and complemented each other.

O ano é 2008, Caio está chagando em casa e corre logo para o quarto, ligando o DVD para assistir bleach, até o momento que começa a tocar uma maravilha chamada ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
I can relate a lot with this song, it means a lot to me and is by far one of my favorite songs from AKG. I have a dream, and I feel like the man in the video, feeling bad and having problems living a "ordinary life", he can no longer be happy because this dreams, his wings are always tied up and don't allow him to live a normal life, he even see other people without dreams having fun in the beach, wishing he could be as relaxed and happy as they are. Just when he accepts himself and decides to break up the cage he's living in he can shine and fly just like he meant to. He wraps his wings trying to fit in society, doing what everyone else does, but obviously that doesn't work for him. Working for my dream is completely different from working for money and that's something really hard for me. But "Even though we don't have anything, we will go on". This phrase is the one that hits me harder because that's the way I feel, like I'm still not getting nothing from my sacrifice, but anyways I try to go on. This is only my opinion but of you see the lyrics and video together it kind of explains my point of view. There are no words to describe how important this song is for me and how it gives me strenght but I felt like I needed to say it anyway. Asian Kung Fu Generation is one hell of a band. They're so good 😭 Once you move past being a fan from the anime songs, the appreciation deepens. They have some truly incredible songs (not all of them are tied to animes!)

A lot of people in the world has the potential or has some kind of "power" like this guy who has wings but like him hides his "wings" because he's afraid of what people would think about him. Renan Ferreira I saw something similar in the video where he sees people walking down the street with fake wings like his. The two groups he saw were young children and what i believe to be delinquents. Glad to see I wasn't the only to say this was the best opening for Bleach. The song, the animation, and the overall conflict with Orihime being "taken" and Ichigo and the others actually going to get her back, everything just fit and complemented each other.

I can relate a lot with this song, it means a lot to me and is by far one of my favorite songs from AKG. I have a dream, and I feel like the man in the video, feeling bad and having problems living a "ordinary life", he can no longer be happy because this dreams, his wings are always tied up and don't allow him to live a normal life, he even see other people without dreams having fun in the beach, wishing he could be as relaxed and happy as they are.
Just when he accepts himself and decides to break up the cage he's living in he can shine and fly just like he meant to. He wraps his wings trying to fit in society, doing what everyone else does, but obviously that doesn't work for him. Working for my dream is completely different from working for money and that's something really hard for me. But "Even though we don't have anything, we will go on". This phrase is the one that hits me harder because that's the way I feel, like I'm still not getting nothing from my sacrifice, but anyways I try to go on.
This is only my opinion but of you see the lyrics and video together it kind of explains my point of view. There are no words to describe how important this song is for me and how it gives me strenght but I felt like I needed to say it anyway.

Asian Kung Fu Generation is one hell of a band. They're so good 😭 Once you move past being a fan from the anime songs, the appreciation deepens. They have some truly incredible songs (not all of them are tied to animes!)
