I love Ezio's saga, but they made the Templars kinda dirty with the first two games, particularly in the Memory corridors.
I mean, judging by their backstories, I can see why not all of them would be as philosophical, but still...
I do like the gray templars like Shay and Haytham way more. But ngl I love to hate the classic templars too. Especially since while shades of gray is totally real. There are plenty of people on this earth that are straight up evil. They all can't be gray.
I think best way to handle the Templars is to have gray leaders with genuine good intentions but corruption in the form of pure evil underlings.
I like a variety. And I really like it when the pov is challenged specifically with guys like Haytham and Shay. Haytham looks a hero from many perspectives but from someone like Connor or Achilles both him and Shay are evil templar boogeymen
What are you talking about, the memory corridors from AC1 were the most philosophical in the entire series. Most of the templars were morally gray, and they were the catalyst that made Altair start to develop his own beliefs and made him question and grow suspicious of Al Mualim
@@verikan4241I think they mean first 2 Ezio games which would be AC II and AC Brotherhood.
requiescat in pace
Thanks
