      Great guide, but needs updating:
Miner - You'll need one at Journeyman or Master to get the raw materials for high level crafting (lvl ~8)
Scholar - grants a lot extra knowledge points at rest & in the tomb, important for unlocking more recipes
Angler is actually quite useless if you have a good Cook & get a lot of meet from hunting animals. Its also one of the hardest to level as each time you use it, you dont get much XP.
      Thanks for the great guides!

You don’t spam click to fish. The fish always slides to the left, you hold click to bring it back to the middle and release the click before it goes too far on the other side. Click and hold.
Maybe it was spam click previously, but this is the way now.

    • @04AMofficial

Spam click is the best way to catch fish in the game still, on Month 12 on Extreme difficulty and never lost a catch :P

I just started playing yesterday and have 6 skills available on all my many characters. Blacksmith, tinker, mining, alchem, angler and thief. No cooking on any of the 8 or 9 I've had in my party. I keep removing some and replacing them but I've yet to see cooking or any others.

update: cooking begins after you use the tinker skill to make a cooking pot. Place it in camp and click it.

That is decent (I've been doing that in some other similar games) tactics... Trinkets are just tradable goods, so you can just sell them.

some recipes you discover later will need coal when crafting

    • @seb2750

The recipes will tell you what mats it needs. Some of them need things like coal and sandstone. Save all the sandstone you find in early Tiltran play.

Yea it used to be available back then too, but not as profession. Its not really a profession imo (like miner), but definitely good to let your Prisoners do that! There was a rumor that Doctor was going to be on 10, would.have been cool!

so what professions is the best then?. i mean it depends on how you want youre story or how you want to play ofc.
but im pretty sure a black smith and a trinkeler is always something you must/should have.
    so what about the others?.
and do you lose everything if you change to another profession, like if i change from a fully lvled black smith into a wood cutter.. do i have to lvl up the black smith from 0 all over again if i go back?

    • @Teeb2023

_"do you lose everything if you change to another profession"_
Yes. All experience of your previous skill is lost.

    • @04AMofficial
      @04AMofficial  Год назад +1

Cook, Blacksmith, Tinkerer, Thief and Angler are most important imo. Alchemist and Miner are also quite useful once you have extra mercs. Scholar, woodcutter and Bard are optional

@@Teeb2023 Positive. Master feels like it takes forever to get to though so I wouldn't recommend it for the Tinkerer or Blacksmith as you need every point you can get, but once mastered no reason not to at least get to Apprentice in a couple other jobs.
