The Kintyre Way | 8 Day Winter Backpacking by Tarp: Part 3/3

The last video in a series of three, documenting my winter backpacking journey over 8 days on the Kintyre Way. I set off solo on the 1st January 2023 on a self-supported journey using a tarp and bivvy bag for shelter. The videos capture many beautiful and challenging moments as I pushed my body and mental game to their limits on the beautiful and remote peninsula. I planned this journey because I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and build some resilience and the trip certainly delivered!

I'm planning on doing this way this year or next, and huge thanks for this travelogue as there's so little information available for us wild campers! You're a brave man tarping in the winter
Also, it's been a highlight watching you try and be positive about your dehydrated meals - I totally agree the beef and potato hotpot is pretty much the only palatable thing in the Expedition Foods series :) My personal recommendation is LYO's Penne Bolognaise. Their stuff is generally so much nicer than the other brands in my opinion

Thank you for your kind comment! Haha yes, some of the meals are awful. My favourite so far is Real Turmat's Spaghetti.
