Reason for crash: An inexperienced co-pilot who had failed multiple tests at the flight academy eventually ended up in the right seat of this 767 in 2019. During landing, whilst holding the speed brake, the jolt of the plane accidentally caused his watch to flick the go around switch, which pushed engines to max power. This sudden increase in thrust caused him to undergo special disorientation, where the plane was level but in his head it was pitch up. Hence, from his imaginary illusion, he pushed the plane nose down into a dive, causing it to plummet into the bay

I can’t believe it’s now 4 years since when it crashed. I remember watching about this plane crash on the news when it was very recent, feels like just yesterday. Back then we all thought the plane suffered mechanical failure which led to the crash. There was also a footage which shows the aircraft impacting the bay with a water splash afterward. After the NTSB publicly released the final report, I was surprised that this crash was also caused by spatial disorientation.
By the way I just want to say that the crash animation looks extremely cool (probably the best one of every ACI’s animation). Those flying pieces makes the crash animation more realistic. I love how we can see the back of the plane already disintegrated before it impacted the water; this shows how high the G-force of the crash was.
You should see Egypt air 990 or Flash Airlines 604 crash animation, on both flights, the tail flies off on impact.

Beautiful and detailed animation. I will say though, the real recording of the crash shows that the plane was in a much steeper dive than what was shown here

Amazon Prime Air’s aircrafts operated by Atlas Air. Atlas Air takes care of these planes, and these planes perform Amazon’s deliveries.

In the impact scene, I was more expecting the aircraft to be in a interception maneouvre because thats more whats visible in the surveillance cam video. But nevertheless, the clouds and the plane looks gorgeous, the cloud CGI has really improved over this and the last seasons.

I just remembered that i saw one of these Amazon Boeing 767s operated by Atlas Air during a vacation in Miami, when i saw it Takeoff from the airport i remember thinking "Very bad that one of these crashed all the way back in 2019"
Happened somewhere off of Baytown I think, I lived 10 miles out of Crosby at the time of accident

@@sunnyfon9065 I’ve read some infos on the crash before ACI even made an episode on the crash. But once I read that the plane crashed while being on final approach, I thought that the plane stalled then crash in the ground. I didn’t even know that it crashed in water as I just read what I deemed to be the main informations and cause of the crash. And for me, where the plane crashed wasn’t one of them.
