Loved this young man on American Idol, They did him a real favor not winning, He was not tied down with any CONTRACTS. He was the best they had that season. He got a wider fan base, Continue to follow his career. He needed to finish High School, His voice is deeper, Already had amazing personality, Just his smile gives this old woman joy. At 17 he had the gift of Speaking with good communication skills. He has grown up into amazing young singer, song writer. Reminds me of great star we just lost, Toby Keith. Even at 17 he was his own man, did not let American Idol steer him in wrong direction, stood his ground.
I ran into a family on a vacation about a year ago. We were all talking about where we were from. I'm not use to them knowing Garrarrd County, but one of the ladies did. She stated,: Hey that is where the boy on American Idol was from.?" We loved his music!!
just met him 2 days ago lucky enough for my small town to get him to come play at the bar and he is an amazing down to earth guy and super cool with me even let me go on stage and play his guitar

I'm no a fan of country music by any means what so ever, but my grandmother was and I remember back in the 80s/90s listening to it with her. I just randomly came across this and it's good to hear that the sound of actual country music is still out there. Whatever this pop/rap country is nowadays is absolutely terrible. My grandmother would adore this song, thank you for bringing forth special memories of her with your sound.
