melting point is my favorite zb1 song so far, period! the fact that they're promoting it with such cute choreo and outfits has made me love it even more. i think they kinda suit that softer vibe more than crush.
i felt like i wrote this comment myself. i am such a sucker for melting point it is my song of the year for sure for bg bsides and i wish it could have been the title bc crush isnt my cup of tea and it didn't fit cohesively with the album's overall sound. however, for the sake of duality i can see why this is the chosen title track
Jiwoong and Ricky’s vocals really surprised me, I loved this album sm🥹
As a singer I love taeraes voice so much. He doesn’t have a pop or K-pop type of sound it’s has more of an emotional kinda classical type of sound and that’s why I love his parts because it really just kinda adds this extra emotion and depth to their songs. It’s so beautiful and unique.

I think the show definitely had some people they wanted to specifically pay attention to and Tae Rae wasn't really one until man in love.
Excuse me, don’t say the words “Go to war” in a ZB1 video ever again, okay, we just lost Hyungwon from Monsta X to the bald head and enlistment for two years, (I am still crying over losing Mr. Rover, himself) I don’t need to think about Jiwoong, Hanbin, Taerae or any of them shaving their heads and disappearing for two years 😭 (unless they come back looking jacked, like Shownu or Minhyuk from BTOB🤫 but I digress)
P.S. NA KAMDEN HAS OFFICIALLY DEBUT IN AMBERSAND ONE!!! Which means that’s as of yesterday (I think) all 18 boys that made it to the final round of Boys Planet are officially K-pop idols!

When you mentioned about the rap sounding like girl group I totally got same vibe from whole album but in a good way, love all the songs suits them so well
so proud of zb1 with this album, take my hand was literally made for me lol. adam's reaction to good night was so real, i love that song and don't want to think about only having 2.5 years with zb1 either. my personal album ranking is take my hand > crush > good night > melting point > kidz zone.

23:00 I think zb1’s 3 main vocals make for a very dynamic range of songs with taerae having a more traditionally country sound (?? Not sure what the term is), hao’s hearty warm tone and hanbin’s lighter airy sound
I am so obsessed with ZB1 but nothing on CRUSH hit like IN BLOOM did.
You know i really love Gyuvins vocals, like i feel like they are so underrated, i find them so pretty, i find all of their vocals pretty lol. Also yujin and gyuvin need more lines😭😭😭

But yeah he can sing really good and he is stable so idk why they make him "rap" mostly. Also he can rap too but they just need to give him lines that don't sound awkward, like ones with flow if yk what i mean?
@@taeyongsredboot Yeah fair I don’t listen a whole lot, a few songs from the first album mostly but I don’t pay that much attention to who is singing. Honestly probably couldn’t differentiate between a Jiwoong, Yujin or Gyuvin line just by listening. I have watched a lot of the variety but I can’t remember hearing him sing. When I think about it all that comes to mind is the bp performances where he mostly got those weird speaking but not rapping lines.
Definitely hard agree in that case tho, like if the man can sing then by all means they rlly should let him. Or yeah at the least stop just giving him the weird speaking lines and give him actual rap

Yessss to the Persona 5 vibes
Taerae is definitely not a baritone, not even a low tenor. His range from what has been demonstrated is that of a typical tenor. I think there's something very... tongue-based about his singing. Muppety. Not in a bad way. His voice definitely contrasts with the others' and I've grown to appreciate it more across the albums so far.
Kidzone has the vibe of that song by DNCE that was everywhere like five years ago.
My biggest complaint for all these songs other than take my hand is the length. There are too many damn people in this group for the tracks to be sub-3 minutes. I keep seeing arguments over the line distributions and cant help but feel at least half of them would be resolved by adding 45-60 seconds to every track.

I found this to be a really good follow up, retaining a similar feeling while offering us some fresh feeling that is great for the season through its cohesive arrangement. Crush could stand out too much, but like you when I listened to Take My Hand, I realized its such a good lead in to Crush that pulls you in to the darker and more exciting feelings of Winter. Aesthetically, sonically, shocked WakeOne could or would even bother to pull off two solid works in a row and bring us original concepts.
Naturally at the end of this album, I got teary when listening to Good Night, a lot of sweetness and bittersweetness they invoke by speaking good night to us between singing. This album makes me excited for what we will see at year end, and what we will get with the next comeback.
