Honestly it just got boring. He was such a nice guy but he had no drive. I’d talk to him and try to figure out fun things we could do together, but he just wanted to play video games all the time, no job, nothing. We stayed friends for a bit and he ended up getting a new job and he got out of the “funk” he was in! I really hope he is doing well! Shout out to all the sensitive boys taking this so personally 😘
That's the same story with my ex! Such a good guy, had a pure soul, loved me to pieces. But seemed like he was still an infant mentally, I had to leave but I've always wished him the best 😊
For those who actually need or want to know the "korean radish" is called Mu it taste like a onion, apple and pear had a baby, in American grocery stores its commonly confused as daikon and labled as such daikon is Japanese and tubular shaped, Mu is more asian pear shaped and twice the size
Honestly, I don't even remember the guy before my husband. I guess that's good enough reason why he's an ex. 🤷🏼♀️ Shout out to whoever that dude was though, you're a real one for helping me meet the actual love of my life! 🥰

I love that you use the word scallion. Here in Ireland we call spring onions scallions too, but unfortunately some shops from the UK here have gotten some people starting to say spring onions!
My Chinese grandma had a somewhat similar method like this for preserving radishes. Except that she would dry them for 2-4 days until they're shriveled and thin, which then would be soaked in sugar, water and wine, rinsed, adding spices like chili peppers and garlic, and finally scorched them in hot oil. They are an absolute delicacy when paired with congee.
