  • The liner in your MIG torch is just one component that makes up a smooth wire feeding experience. If there are any issues with it, you’re going to have problems when you weld.
That’s why changing your liner as needed is essential. Letting your wire drag because your liner has kinked inside the torch is going to give you an erratic feed, which you don’t want.
Changing your liner is relatively easy, so when you do need to change it, here’s our step-by-step guide on how.

If you swap a good liner to a different sized new liner, can you go back and use the old liner again if you change size or do you need to feed a new liner each time?

Thx. When using the teflon liner I gather the foot long metal spring is used as a guide but is also not removed when it reaches the end of the gun?

When changing to a graphene liner do you still keep the 10 in or so of metal liner into the gun or do you remove the metal guide liner completely and have the liner all graphene?
