Thanks, I needed to install a smaller liner (.023 wre) into a 36 MIG Gun with a Euro Fitting. Your explanation of how to do it was clear and concise.

From which MIG welding burner manufacturer you have repaired

I've asked this question many times but lack of answers, why doesn't the 'Mig180' display the Amps and or wire feed speed on the display when altering when not in use? It only shows when an arc is created making it redundant.

The LED is not a setup tool like you are thinking of it, it is a calibration device to ensure that the unit can be used in a coded manner if required. It is therefore a ‘real time’ read device, not a ‘preset’ read device. Any idea that preset and Mig go together is moot anyway, it is unreliable in most situations due to the variances in gas composition, gas flow rates, base material composition and arc length, all of which can affect the amps generated at the weld pool, which will mean the ‘preset’ applied on the front is false. Hope this helps.

I don't like the euro fitting it sticks out from the machine too far and doesn't tighten fully the nut tightens but the plug still wobbles
