Dip Pen Illustration Process

My first big drawing using a dip pen and watercolors. For most of my time as an artist I have overlooked dip pens simply because I thought they were too messy. After giving it another chance, I realized I was just using a poor quality nib with bad technique. Honestly, after doing this drawing, I don't think I'll ever use another kind of pen. I had a great deal of fun with this one and I hope you enjoy watching the process! Materials listed below.
Paper: 16" x 20" Canson illustration board
Ink: Speedball Super Black
Nib: Speedball 512
Watercolors: Winsor & Newton
