Wessam Lauf - Šomšák yeah you hear yourself a lot better than you would from the mic output. Helps you figure out if you need to raise your pitch or lower it. Helps newer singers a lot
BleedingxRainbow He's plugging his ear because he doesn't have in ear monitors and can't hear himself at all. When I first started playing shows and didn't have monitors I did the same thing. Especially in smaller rooms like that with horrible acoustics. The instruments are so loud you can't hear your own voice. Literally EVERY singer in a similar situation will plug and ear at some point to check their vocals.
