I merged most of my portfolio into SOL during the bear market, as SOL started doing better. When I found out about ICP, just after the new year (while doing more research), I made the swap from SOL to ICP. Now, looking back, I can only say, im glad i found ICP!.

I agree with you about feeling safe to put crypto currency money into ICP. So long as the SEC doesn't attack them. I'm not sure who the SEC will attack next. Could even be USDT in my opinion to eliminate counterfeit dollars. ICP may be safer but I don't know what the SEC lawyers know.

Ada is 3rd generation. It has never gone down or been hacked. It could run the world in 15 years. Dubai police use it, African School system use it. State election officials have even ran the idea of running elections on cardano network . Bitcoin and cardano are the only crypto that is truly decentralized
Whereas ICP is VERY centralized . It is the antithesis of decentralized currency

Wie are in a very young market. The best Technology needs time. Additional ICP had a Pump from 3 to 20$.
Just look at the quality of those Dapps or exclude Dapps that are directly tied to ICP functions. Then, you have just a handful of mediocre "copycat" apps that will never get mass adoption. Until some apps can get millions of users with web2 equivalent functionality combining a web3 unique selling point, the ICP token is dead money.
You need to address that the 15% returns and not neccisarly a good thing. That increases inflation and because voting rewards and node providers get soooo much more new tokens than are burned. ICP burned is only 160k v milllions.

Jerry ICP is labelled a security by SEC. ICP wasn't fair launched. To much allocation to The Founder s ,VC s and Definity Foundation that will dump the coin at anytime. There are now in the background better protocol's out there in the Proof of Work space that a fair launched. Take Tao and Qubic for an example s fair launched project s way better than ICP which is labelled a security by SEC.
