What made Cardano number1? What metric were they using because Cardano isn’t the fastest and doesn’t even have a stable coin yet. And not much TVL still. So what are they on?
@@WordMadeFlesh777 I am an ICP guy too but give credit where its due. Good for ADA and SUI. Cardano does have stablecoins and a lot of TVL actually, the information is there. The decision was made by the blockchain industry itself. They use different metrics to retail investors and Tubers and have access to information we don't. They know things we don't. I like to keep an open mind unlike the average ICP investor.
dont get confused, you are comparing 2 ledgers with a crypto cloud platform. The technology ICP introduces to mankind is falsely labeled as blockchain. Its a computing platform that leverages blockchain and not a ledger itself. It simultaneously competes with Cloud, AI startups, DeFi, SocialFi web3gaming, RWA platforms etc...Not to mention the direct hit on cybersecurity industry since canister smart contracts dont need firewalls and personel to keep them safe...But communities tend to defend their tokens because they crave profit.This keeps you from finding the next big thing.

You need some understanding of tech\software to rate most crypto. ICP is light years ahead of the rest. ETH is awful, but was first to market for smart contracts. I hate using ETH, L2, L3 solutions are not the answer, will never go mainstream. ICP has the potential to be absolutely massive

When i upgraded it on brave browser, the old plug wallet was gone and i downloaded the new version.I put in my seed phrase and recovered the 1st account but I do not show the second account, i had 30 icp in it. I mean, I do hold very little amount of ICP, however I think it's important to understand that the majority of people, when they even have a slight motivation to get into crypto, they are not going to understand what ICP aims to do nor delve into any kind of analysis of the technology and stuff like that.
People like things that are simple to understand. Bitcoin is simple. it's a digital cash. other alt coins are simple as well. ICP, not so much 🤷

ICP is definitely a good project, but you have to think what is the current market cap and what will be market cap when it will reach 100$. I think ICP will do 5x max which is bit too optimistic price prediction.

Too many coins being unlocked people staking for no reason tokenomics suck price keeps pumping to get dumped back because of tokens being released into ICP and also no max supply, tokens being created out of nowhere. Jerry, if I want to stake for 10+ or so years am I right in thinking the best strategy is to stake for 8 years and then immediately hit dissolve? After 7 years of the clock going down then hit pause and just wait until closer the time I actually want my ICP back? That way you’ve already got the clock down and won’t wait so long. Yes, the apy only slowly curves down in a few years, but with age bonus in a non dissolving neuron even in 8 years you will make over 11% +
