This was one of the most interesting yard requests to date. A woman reached out to us for help, she has multiple family members that are buried in a cemetery down by the coast of North Carolina that has been consumed by mother nature. Normally tall grass is no match for us but the issue here is that many of the graves are scattered throughout the woods. So join us on this journey today as we search for lost gravestones, dodge a few falling limbs and clear out this cemetery so this family can find there loved ones once again. It came out amazing at the end so stick all the way through, thanks for your continued support

FYI in case you find another headstone that is tipped over... You can get construction adhesive and put under where the headstone was and then tip it back up. This will hold it in place better if the ground is un-level or a limb hits it. You guys are doing Great Work! I also hope you guys are going to go back and cut those stumps to the ground. Can't mow over them will tear up someones mower.

15 years ago I was visiting a friend in the Ozarks and a storm downed a tree and made a mess in a small rural graveyard. Nobody seemed to care about it but I felt compelled to clean it up. So everyday for a week I rode the 4 wheeler to it with tools and snacks and cleaned it up by myself. It was a privilege for me to honor the people buried there. Good job Blessing boys. Keep on doing what you do.

We looked at a property for sale , in Kentucky. There was a small graveyard on it. We were told that if you buy it, you take on the responsibility of it's upkeep, to honor. All over the Civil War states , Kentucky being torn in the middle of it. It was brothers turned on brothers. The country was young and having to go to war with one side or the other . Many Momma's cried.
It was a real eye opening for me ( from out West) to hear that the stories of that war are best learned from those that lived there,. News media is always propping up sensationalism. That grove was beautiful . Good job ,

Civil War cemetery in Ft Gaines Georgia needs restoration. It's in bad repair, been split up by a road, and a statue of a General has been moved. Mobile homes have even been positioned on parts of it. It is fairly large and most of the graves are the ones with the bricks built above ground. Just a suggestion if you're interested.

Forest hill cemetery in Dunmore Pa is insanely overgrown. If all the incredible RUclips yard transformers came on the same day to clean it up, you would barely see each other and it would love amazing. Even if it didn’t get completely clean. I was trying to help my former neighbor find her father in law but it was crazy. They did eventually they did find him just not the day I was there.
The first time I went to this cemetery we found it by accident. There’s an opening in the back of Dunmore cemetery. Even overgrown it’s beautiful. I wish I could help clean it up but my tools are electric.
    You inspire me.

Here in alabama we discovered a hidden cemetery. The property had grave stones dating back to the late 1700 hundred .
After clearing the brush we found a section of just large rocks basketball size placed in a separate spot.
I was sad to learn that these rocks were markers of slave burials separated from what was a nice cemetery for the European settlers.

This was such a great thing to do. For future reference, I think the Find a Grave website has a link on how to care for those old headstones and markers. Because they are old, chemicals and certain tools (like rakes and string trimmers) can cause damage. They also shouldn’t be walked on. I hope that now that they are uncovered, someone will take pictures of the headstones and add them to Find a Grave. Keep up the good work.

First, THANK YOU!!! I've been volunteering with our local historical society for the past 10 years. We've recently reignited efforts to locate every cemetery in our county, note the ones that are neglected, and our goal is to eventually make our way back to each one needing attention (and there are MANY) and clean them up. Having said that and as a cemetery preservation junkie, may I make two suggestions should you be asked to do a cemetery cleanup again? One, be careful with sliding shovels and spades across the surface of the grave markers. That grating action can harm a grave marker. Second, I've found that if at all possible (i.e. if fallen leaves and grasses are dry), using a leaf blower BEFORE delving too deep into weedeating, etc. will oftentimes reveal disguised markers (or parts of them). You'll then know they are there and can avoid running a weedeater over the surface of flat markers (again, the weedeater may harm the markers). Using a blower also frequently uncovers sandstone rocks that were often used when people couldn't afford a grave marker. I have to say thank you again. Our group hopes to clear a large cemetery in poor condition in a national forest next winter (when the snakes are dormant, the deer hunters aren't out, and the ticks and chiggers might be sleeping!). I would be thrilled to have a group of hard workers like you, your sons and your brother to help us.

Hello Justin and the boys. Up on the Appalachian Trail, (The Shenandoah National Park) just off one of the trails I hiked a while back, were many little cemeteries. We hiked from Front Royal Virginia , down into NC. The hike was about 15 miles, the portion we hiked. One of the cemeteries was marked by a crab apple tree, and little head stones. They are consumed by thick brush, and unless you went digging around, or knew where they were exactly (off of a map) you would miss them.

I agree with one of the other comments...this is a highly regarded job of respect, and I'm not insinuating that you and your boys don't respect all the properties you work on. I recall when Judah found a "grave" of a one day old baby from like the 1960's and he was kinda in awe of that 😮 Graves are around to honor passed lives of loved ones and I applaud you and your brother and all the boys for helping this family out. I love what you do, and I look forward to watching more of your transformation of other people's properties! 😉 ❤God bless you in all your endeavors 😊❤

You've already been teaching your boys the values of hard work & of giving back to the community. Learning respect for others, including those who have passed on, is just as important. All of you do a brilliant job every time but especially so this episode. It was great to see your brother too!

Awesome job gentleman. Suggestion for another video. You guy's should make another video of that graveyard you just worked on. You could continue searching the surrounding area for more grave stones. I bet there's a lot more out there that you can't see. Probably goona need more major cleaning up. You guy's can deffinetly get the job done.
Awsome job of honoring the lives of the forgotten soldiers from the past !!!

Yes, dear, I agree 100%! We really want to purchase this cemetery, too. As a few viewers suggested, I will be contacting the Boy Scouts and VFW to assist us in maintaining these grounds. It's a work in progress! Mr. Justin and his marvelous family were the beginning. Thank you and all viewers for such caring and encouraging words about this project! They help me to, to push a little further!

I live in Raleigh but my HOME is in Carteret County. I am also a genealogy buff and I love cemeteries. I just couldn’t rest until I figured out where you are in this video and I was able to find one of the names on the more modern grave markers. This beautiful work you accomplished is just barely over the county line from my home. Thank you, your boys and your brother for recovering this resting place from its takeover by nature.
