And let’s not forget the most literal “High Value” way to spend your time is with The Most High Himself. Nothing more enriching than that! Many blessings! ✨
My exercise hobbies are strength training and yoga. My creative hobby is knitting. My high value sport is karate. And I am planning on reading more classics and revisiting my high school German.
Maybe you can add this disclaimer: know your financial limitation and make sure you pick activities that can be supported by your finance, do the hobbies that interest you, and do them for your interest, not just to attract men and be a pick-me-girl. Only when you do something you truly enjoy will it enrich your life.
If you're watching RUclips videos, there are many videos that can teach you workouts, art, and intellectual endeavors. Libraries and museums are free. Listening to music is free. There are so many free activities, you just have to be creative.
Did anyone watch this video for long enough to reach that disclaimer? 😂 I don't know why this appeared as a suggested video for me, but it gave me 'how to impress others' vibes from the start. And also - what's levelling up? To me, it's about finding fulfilment in life.
@@lavi_arun thank you, I'm happy to say that I'm in a way better place now. I found a family, have two people who are like loving parents to me, I've found a career path after getting into my hobbies again and my romantic life is looking good as well.
I don’t know you , but I am soooo happy for you ! As a person who can relate and took way too long to leave my own emotionally abusive relationship , good for you for having the courage to do that . I hope you find peace and happiness !
I love that at the end of the video you emphasize to make sure you LIKE the hobbies you do. These things shouldn’t be a chore done just to impress others and get validation, they should be done to bring more meaning to your life, and thus make your life more fulfilling and rewarding in many ways. This year I’ve tried so many things in literally every department you talked about LOL, my absolute obsession that I’ve found amidst them all: my guitar. I’ve been so much more happy and my self esteem has significantly improved (still working on it though). It makes me really sad that the system we are in has made it really hard for average adults to have hobbies besides watching tv and their jobs, but talking to anyone will reveal that EVERYONE has some silly little thing that they want to do. Up until this year I thought I couldn’t start any hobbies that I hadn’t started as a kid already, and I feel like a lot of other teenagers and adults also feel this way and this also stops them from trying. I hope everyone gets to do the things they truly like one day
Here are my current hobbies, any feedback is appreciated ❤ 1. Reading japanese literature and italian poetry 2. Aromatherapy 3. Herbalism (I especially love growing and making my own teas) 4. Walking 5. Travelling 6. Visiting museums (at least 3 per month) I feel like I need more active hobbies and I am not sure of visiting museums counts 😅
we have a lot in common! I love herbalism and I love tea. I study Japanese and I love literature. I have a degree in fine arts and anthropology and I LOVE museums!
That's cool. How are you learning Herbalism? Did you take a course on herbalism? And how will you organize doing all of those things? I struggle with time management, so just curious what others do.
@@tmc1373 Hi! My family practised herbalism, so I learned the basic from them and to deepen my knowledge I look up free courses/events on this topic ✨️ I have found that aromatherapy has strong basics in herbalism too and since we have a lot of free aromatherapy events I go there to learn about more herbs 🙌 Also books are such a holy grail! I try to pick books with pictures of plants they talk about to visualise it better 😄
@@tmc1373 As for time management, I have a lot of tips! 1. Use your time while being on a bus/train/plane! Unless you are driving yourself, you will probably have some time to read a few pages daily 😊 2. Do aromatherapy in the background! It works great while you are working out (yoga, pilates, etc.), studying (you can use scents like sweet orange to boost your productivity), doing skincare, while cleaning and etc. 3. Pick herbs that grow with minimal effort in your conditions! If you live in appartment it could be some thyme on a windowsil, for me it is mint plant (I always have 3 varieties of it growing outside, it's almost impossible to kill) 4. Walk before/after you go to work/school/university. You can go an hour earlier to take a walk before them or just take a little longer to get back, I know some people who skip 2-3 bus stops and walk instead to get their steps. For weekends, I just walk where I need to go. For example, if I need to go to a tea place in other district I just walk there instead of taking transportation. 5. For traveling, plan a looot in advance and move your plans around it asap. Right now I have plans in April and August, so there is plenty of time to adjust my work before that. 6. Pick a day for the museums! For my country, we have a free museum day every last Sunday of the month, so I always keep that Sunday clear of all plans ✨️ Hope this helps 💕
This came at the perfect time - one of my New Year's Resolutions is to develop socially, and I'd started making my own list of interests before coming across this video! One more category I'm going to push myself to do is volunteering in areas that matter to me. Here's a to a meaningful 2024!
I have all 3 😅 And I genuinely consider myself a happy person. My physical hobby is horseback riding (it is so good for my mental health too!), creative one is painting and intellectual one is reading. This is a perfect combination, as I can do these activities all year round, both indoor and outdoor. People always tell me how vibrant and excited I look and that my eyes are filled with passion 😅 I wish everyone find their favorite hobbies ❤
@@stayxskzleebit6030 Yes! Absolutely! Be sure to check around, ask questions, and look at reviews. Horseback riding is a wonderful passion and people of all ages, shapes and sizes can learn at any time. Most stables should have an intro lesson price in which they SHOULD show you around the barn, introduce you to staff you'll encounter, and match you with the best lesson horse available. Don't be afraid to ask about the instructor's certification or history of teaching. That's just my advice though! Enjoy! :-)
Literally all the things I enjoy and I've been struggling to find link minded folks in my area since I moved from CT to FL and have been in a serious depression bcuz of it. I need friends like you!
Painting and drawing (fairly new), pilates/lifting weights, and guitar since 9 years old 💕 I can vouch that having hobbies definitely helps you connect to your soul, feel more confident, and joyful
And let’s not forget the most literal “High Value” way to spend your time is with The Most High Himself. Nothing more enriching than that! Many blessings! ✨
Yes, why not spend time with God? I am a Panthiest and Animist my beliefs are the belief in everything is manifestation of god, and everything has spirit. my relationship with god is that god's my family I don't worship. Ohana means family. ❤
Putting this list here with the hope of obtaining support and accountability from fellow members here. Current hobbies: High value sport: Badminton Exercise: Yoga Arts: Learning Spanish & just started Japanese I want to do the following in 2024: 1. Learning to play music 2. Heavily invest in my former hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, dancing & singing 3. Learning how to cook 4. Learning how to invest May add some more along the way, but I think my plate is full at the moment. Thank you for reading and supporting me.
Good reads is a good app to keep track of your reading, set reading goals and find good book recs that fit you. I recently got back into reading and so glad I did.
Yoga is a religious practise with potential physical benefits, not the other way around. Different yoga poses are meant to worship different Hindu deities. I hope you are aware of that.
What a backwards way of thinking. Ladies, do whatever you want and makes you happy. You can have hobbies like wood working, building, programming, mechanics and video games or other typical "man" hobbies if you want
Other dance classes that may be of interest include: bachata, country line dancing, and ballroom dancing. Ballroom dancing is partner based. As a woman you’ll be required to follow a man’s lead. My community has the following: paint nights, cake and cookie decorating parties, art museum events, concerts, book clubs, writing organizations, charity events, volunteer opportunities. Look up events in your community. I’m sure you can find something fun and interesting. Books are great, but so are podcasts. A famous RUclips dating coach suggested that women should listen to podcasts before dates so they’ll have something to discuss. (He’s a coach for women. I’m sure he’d tell men the same thing.) Traveling is a great hobby, too. If you can travel internationally, do it. My current obsession is perfume. Learning about the different notes is great, but I really like learning about the culture, science, and geography involved in the process.
@@zlatag4644 RUclips. The Perfume Guy, A I the Great, The Perfume Nest, Aromatix, Cee Chronicles, The Cherys TV. The Perfume Guy, A I the Great, and The Perfume Nest mostly focus on niche perfumes (perfumes from companies whose focus is scents only). Aromatix and Cee Chronicles focus mostly on inexpensive Middle Eastern perfume houses. The Cherys TV focuses on designer, niche, and Middle Eastern. I hope this helps. If you want to get into perfume, but you don’t want to spend a lot of money, find an online decant store. You can purchase a small bottle of perfume, so you don’t waste your money on perfumes you don’t like. Google: perfume decant shops. A bunch of different online shops sell small bottles of perfumes, including expensive ones.
I definitely need hobbies. I work regular shifts but sometimes 16 hours and I literally go home every night, eat shit, and scroll through tik tok. No wonder I'm depressed
Do what you like because you like it not because you think it’s going to make you someone special. Doesn’t matter how basic the hobby is it’s amazing that you can do it.
@@Amy-cv2cq I don’t do them all at the same time! Currently, I’m more focused on ballet, knitting, baking and playing the violin. I spent a few months doing certain hobbies, then put that aside for something else. Then after a few months, (or years) I’d come back to the old ones again. Some cycles, like sewing vs knitting is shorter and I’d switch after I complete 1-2 projects. Some cycles, like ballet vs street dance, I’d spend a few years in each before circling back. This helps me not to get bored with something as I’d just follow the current passion/flow I have.🙂
Playing classical guitar is one and I might want to get back into doing crochet. Vickita inspires me so much and I am sure I am more than double her age. Also, I need to do more cultural events. Also, I want to refresh my knowledge of French and Spanish. Currently, I do get a lot of exercise via daily walking plus yoga and pilates 6 times weekly, read a lot of books, am in a book club, and do tarot readings.@@melissamoonchild9216
Yesss, as always, this came right on time. I miscarried 2 months ago & had started to fall into depression. This week it was like a veil was lifted, I've had soo much creative energy! I've been decorating Christmas cookies & ornaments, I started hand knitting for the first time, started transitioning an old dress to a new apron- I'm on *fire* & it feels so good! Haven't even started the video yet bc I wanna take notes but I figured I'd share 😅😊❤ Editing to add: my boyfriend has been so supportive, he even made some gingerbread cookies with me last night lol🥰
Ahhh, this video was such good confirmation. I do ballet, salsa, play the flute, do dressage(horseback riding), and love cooking and real estate investing. Femininity is natural for us. Nurture those nudges.
@ethiopiazoldyk4667 dressage is a specific riding discipline. It is a classic, European militant training where the horse exhibits and performs specific advanced maneuvers. It's cousin is working equitation where you see the training part(dressage) put to work in a series of tasks that mimic what the horse would be asked to do in the field whether that be the battle field or maneuvering through tight, winding cities while fully responsive and under control. Equestrian refers to the people and things associated with the horses and the sport of riding.
What if you sign up for a horse riding and then the guy you like thinks people that horse ride are shallow and rich a******** Who cracked me up is like learning to read more to attract your perfect mate The world's done
I just wanted to let you know that your videos are everything! I have just stumbled upon them and I can’t stop watching all of them. I’m a 43 year old woman, who up to this point, really has no idea how to take care of myself. I know that you’re much younger than me and I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate you helping, not only the younger generation, but also old ladies, like myself too. I’m learning so much. Thank you. ❤😊
I am 26 years old and a mother to a 4 year old daughter who honestly is my biggest teacher and inspiration! We LOVE Pilates, I do it almost everyday and Kundalini Yoga-which is more like a movement mediation! Again, my daughter watches me and she even chants with me sometimes!!! We love to nourish our bodies with homemade gourmet meals! Last night we took our homemade hot chocolate out to see the zoo lights and it was magical knowing that we used expensive chocolate! We also are ballet students, my daughter goes to a world renowned studio (as do I) but she plans to be a prima ballerina and I will do my part to encourage her! We love to read! She claims we are book girls which I agree!! Her school is a Waldorf school so they will learn to knit and crochet and do hand-work which encourages their finger mobility and helps to track with reading! I speak Spanish and some French and we plan to enroll her in person French classes when she is 5! So then we can practice together! Her school teaches them Spanish, Hebrew, and German in 1st grade!! We also don’t do screens or technology and I will promote this heavily! I also plan to enroll her in Piano since she expressed a desire as her birthday gift this year!! Also in the summer we plan on taking equestrian lessons!! I am raising an accomplished young lady with standards and grace but also the strength and will to excel at anything she puts her mind too!! This is the feminine way! I’m so excited for her and her future!! I am giving her the childhood I wished I had but mostly the support and encouragement that needs to go with it! PRESENCE is everything
Hey may I give a little harmless tip? How about you also enroll her in kick boxing or some self defense classes? With how dusty males are getting each passing year I think it's highly important to learn how to defend one self if ever needed.
I love sewing, crochet, embroidery etc but I do these in secret because I'm afraid that people consider these as grandma hobbies and would be turned off if I mentioned them. 😅
You spend about 1/3 of your life in bed, so tbh sleeping is def a hobby of mine for sure. I loooove to get an amazing nap or night of sleep. Used to be sleep deprived in the past and drinking energy drinks to keep me awake, its def a huge improvement now. I recommend a good night sleep to everyone. Investing in a good bed and mattress was also a wise desicion as well. But yeah, other than that your tips are great 💙
Woman is not a proprty to call her high value. I find this term pretty misogynistic. You want to feel interesting and respected, swap social media for books. Reading more on personal development, psychology, science, philosophy, history will provide plenty of topics for conversations and help you to be well spoken.
Wow. I have been doing a lot of these things but still was stumped when people asked what my hobbies are. I work out with youtube trainers, i listen to audiobooks while crocheting, i am constantly cooking because i love it. I buy myself flowers biweekly and arrange them in my apartment. And in the warmer months the last 2 years i have been a member of my local pickleball league. They just seemed like fun things i did? Not hobbies 😂
Hobbies should always be fun to do, which is the point of doing them,so much you can actually forget that they are a hobby because you are so used to do them, they are part of you and you do them almost on instinct.
“It is amazing to me,” said Bingley, “how young ladies have patience to be so very accomplished as they all are.” “All young ladies accomplished! My dear Charles, what do you mean?” “Yes, all of them, I think. They all paint tables, cover screens, and net purses. I scarcely know any one who cannot do all this, and I am sure I never heard a young lady spoken of for the first time without being informed that she was very accomplished.” “Your list of the common extent of accomplishments,” said Darcy, “has too much truth. The word is applied to many a woman who deserves it no otherwise than by netting a purse, or covering a screen. But I am very far from agreeing with you in your estimation of ladies in general. I cannot boast of knowing more than half a dozen, in the whole range of my acquaintance, that are really accomplished.” “Nor I, I am sure,” said Miss Bingley. “Then,” observed Elizabeth, “you must comprehend a great deal in your idea of an accomplished woman.” “Yes, I do comprehend a great deal in it.” “Oh! certainly,” cried his faithful assistant, “no one can be really esteemed accomplished who does not greatly surpass what is usually met with. A woman must have a thorough knowledge of music, singing, drawing, dancing, all the modern languages, to deserve the word; and besides all this, she must possess a certain something in her air and manner of walking, the tone of her voice, her address and expressions, or the word will be but half deserved.” “All this she must possess,” added Darcy, “and to all this she must yet add something more substantial, in the improvement of her mind by extensive reading.” “I am no longer surprised at your knowing only six accomplished women. I rather wonder now at your knowing any.”
I have a tip; check and see if your local community college offers any free or low-cost classes for non-students. A lot of them are online-only and you can take at your own pace! Over the spring I took accounting and communication courses just for fun as new skills to learn!

I’ve recently discovered your channel and I’m genuinely impressed by the quality of your content on self-care and wellness. Your insights and tips are incredibly helpful and delivered in a way that’s both engaging and easy to understand. Thank you for the time and effort you put into each video. Looking forward to more great content!❤
This world is so far removed from hobbies that when you mention a hobby people ask if you get payed for that and then they marvel over the fact of just doing something because you like it. It’s almost insulting. People please let 2024 be the year everyone gets hobbies.
It’s insane, how many people underestimate the value of hobbies and knowledge when it comes to socialising, the example you used of the wine is perfect, not everybody knows details about it, all sorts of wine and something simple, yet uncommon can give you such an advantage in conversation/social situations
Thank you so much for doing this video and listing interesting examples! I have been interested in flower arrangement, calligraphy, learning languages, and especially belly dancing! I'm so glad that someone else likes to do these things and find them interesting as well! 🤩
year round I love my barre class and HIIT workouts, but when winter comes around, OOOH I love ice skating. I feel so feminine and strong, and with the addition of barre, I can do a lot more complex moves
I’d love to see her opinion on the kibbe/kitchner body and face types, I found it extremely helpful to understand how to best dress and “making myself my own beauty standard.”
High-value women?!?!? Every person is "high value" to themselves and loved-ones- No matter what hobbies or interests you have, you are "high value". Imagine doing something that you don't like to feel better about yourself, more valuable. Sounds ironic, doesn't it? It's fine if you try new things, if you want to become really proficient in a hobby or if you want to do something for your health. But you should not do something just for the justification to feel "valuable", ESPECIALLY you should not do something in order for OTHER people to perceive you as such. You actually probably do not want such people in your life! You want to practice a hobby because it is fun. Not because it is a chore that makes you feel more "valuable". Practicing the hobby you genuinely love should attract people that love the same hobby and will be great friends. Practicing a hobby you hate to attract people that think in terms of "high value women" will probably make most of you uncomfortable or sad, at least disappoint you because these people will not be genuinely interested in YOU as a person.
For arts and crafts add "Miniatures" You can literally create your dream environment and story no matter what your taste is because of the size. New and used pieces to fit all budgets and styles are available all over plus you can create your own pieces too. Even 88 YO Dr. Ruth owned a dollhouse where she says it's therapeutic because you have total control. Queen Mary's mansion dollhouse video is awesome. Even 3 centuries ago they were status symbols! There's even working mini kitchen cooking real food videos now on UTube too. Room boxes have smaller footprints plus different dainty "scales" to choose from.
So then everyone's going to do them, and become homogenous, and then they won't be regarded as high-value because they'll be common to many. Think about it. True individuality and power that shines is not taking your cues from what society deems good or right or worth something as a status signifier. I pray you all find such freedom.
High value means quality, not quantity. The list of hobbies is endless, these are only examples and everyone should be able to pick something special, that not every one does. Having hobbies even if they are mainstream does make you a more rounded person and that is very attractive quality to have..
Well, the whole point of the video is true. Having hobbies make you a well rounded person and that is attractive. There are hundreds of hobbies you can pick from, so it will never have to be just the same for everybody, if you are so worried it will become generic, that goes without saying. The high value is a buzz word to hook people in, any hobby is of high value, no need to go with whatever else others are doing to be of high value, just having any hobby you enjoy is already enough to make you high valuable and enlightened enough to be a person with substance . That is truly the gist of this video. @@pendafen7405
Felt like I didn't have any hobbies but guess I do! Weighlifting/swimming, flute/piano, horseback riding/skiing/climbing, love to bake/cook vegan food, investing, and reading/language learning (fluent in French, learning Korean)

I want to apply every single thing u suggest.. I have tried n tested everything.. but even guys come n say ki u look amazing.. if u would have been a Lil tall I would have fallen for u for sure.. 🥺💔
I think if you can't change something about yourself you should think of the positive sides of it and adapt to it. Short people can also be elegant and classy. Maybe you can try to mix it with coquettish styles. It's pretty much wanted by a lot of guys. Being short can definitely be a positive attribute if you think about it, especially visually.
Girl I’m 5”2!!! The more you think and assume you’re at a disadvantage because of your height, the more experiences you’re drawing toward you that confirm the belief!
I'm 5'10 and I used to dislike it and sometimes still I feel like a giant lumbering over everyone, but I had to accept it because I couldn't change it. Don't bother with men who don't like your height, let the right ones come to you. Some men love petite women. Those men were probably trying to neg you, just walk away lol Also reframe it in your mind, use positive words like petite, not short, and if the women you look at as beautiful are the tall supermodel type, find women more like yourself to celebrate. Kylie Minogue comes to mind, she's a bit older now but everyone loves Kylie and she's tiny 💕

This video is encouraging, this is exactly how I live out and aspire to live out my hobby life. I do struggle though, because sometimes I tire myself out and have less a tendancy to schedule those "relaxing" hobbies that could be done on a saturday. Anyone have tips on relaxing, slow living and making time for down time, I'm all ears 😅
This is my first time seeing one of your videos and I subscribed when I saw how much knowledge you had about your content. Such great information! I'm looking for the "to do" list and am having difficulty locating the list. Can I have the link itself or can you point me in the right direction? I know that I must be overlooking something!
I enjoy drawing and Muay Thai, but due to the places I've lived, it was often very difficult to travel to start or continue with hobbies such as belly dancing, horse riding, snowboarding, Motocross, pole dancing and sometimes with kickboxing as well. I'm moving to a city soon so planning to restart Muay Thai and belkydancing and start moto cross, horse riding and pole dancing for the first time. I'd like to try snowboarding occasionally as well, but that's all I think I'll have time for. I like reading as well.
How do you guys find time for 3!! hobbies? I mean I learn Japanese and do Figure Skating. Usually in winter I'm 3-4h a week on the ice. And I do learn Japanese about 2h a week. A third hobbie would be too much besides work, and other stuff you have to do. Yeah, of course I would like to learn cello, but when!? I don't have time for that.
My physical hobby is yoga (I got my yoga teacher training certification this year), running and strength training. My creative hobby is organizing a yoga retreat and a guided meditation podcast. My intellectual hobbies are reading about finance, economics (I studied economics) and psychology.
Wow I love the action plan at the end of the video!! It makes me feel that I didn’t waste my time watching this video and am able to do something about the info learned. I think you should do more of this strategy ❤thanks alot
I like to exercise and I prefer classes, so I meet people and can be social outside work. I love going to the theatre, which seems to be something that is interesting because not many people go to the theatre apparantly? I used to write poetry, write in my diary and have penpals. I want to pick that up and add something creative, I think massaging and/or wood decoration (painting furniture seems interesting).
I taught myself computer programming over the pandemic. I also took archery and horseback riding lessons during that time as well. I also ready, write, make art, music, and cooking
I'm sorry but guys don't give a shit about anything other than maybe exercise, cooking, and makeup and whether your sport is very masculine or not. I mean just be yourself. He's going to be able to tell that you don't actually read philosophy if you don't normally read philosophy. If you don't follow the stock market, who's going to be able to tell in under 5 minutes. Most guys are VERY SIMPLE! They're like answer me 2 questions: 1) How hot is she? 2) Is she a psycho? A 60 year old billionaire that owns and runs two companies can be seduced and fall in love with a 22 year-old woman without a college degree who speaks English as her second language... For example imagine not ‘making him wait’ after the third date and you're scheduling a fourth date to go to an art museum so you can tell him how cultured and intellectually cosmopolitan you are. so that he will really want to chase you.. if hes high value and he has options, after the second date he's checked out. Just keeping it a thousand...🤷🏾♂️
I’m all about this and this is overall great advice. But any sport that a person is passionate about makes that a high value sport. Soccer, volleyball, running, etc. I am an avid skiier and enjoy golf and tennis, but when you say these are “high value” sports I think this confuses high value with being exclusively expensive or socially exclusive. High value women go towards their passion. It could be Brazilian jiu jitsu and as long as it’s her passion, that contributes to her being a high value woman. Only listing sports that are traditionally financially and socially exclusive really misses the mark on what it means to be high value.
For me for physical i strength train, walk, do kung fu and tai chi. Creative is writing but i wanna do crochet. Not doing any of the high value stuff right now but I'll see if i can in the new year. Love cooking and baking so already got that down lmao. Definitely need to do more educational stuff, got a bunch of biographies on Cleopatra that i still need to work through but i do wanna learn more about finances and certain areas of history. I wanna relearn french too and learn Japanese. Wow this is a big list, better get started!
Exercise Belly dancing Body weight workout Pilates on Saturdays Arts and crafts Flower arranging Learning about paintings Sketching High value sports Tennis Culinary Cooking Baking Knowning about wine Educational Coding Saving Investment Reading psychology magazines Cultural Learning about philosophers Stoicism
Already there, lol! I love yard work and gardening, my physical hobby, creative hobbies are singing, music, drawing, painting, beadwork and all sorts of crafts, and intellectual hobbies are reading, history, religion, and history of music. I cook too. BTW, Marcus Aurelius is my dude, Meditations is essential to live a good life, ESPECIALLY as a woman.
Yoga, Krav Maga, traditional archery, and crochet, hand embroidery, and weaving. All the hobbies I’m passionate about, plus working, I don’t have time to date anyway 😅

My exercise hobbies are strength training and yoga. My creative hobby is knitting. My high value sport is karate. And I am planning on reading more classics and revisiting my high school German.
So talented 😅
I love this!!! ❤️
Great ❤ and if you need help with german - im from switzerland 😊
Learning another language is an EXCELLENT high-value woman hobby. High-value women speak at least 2 languages at conversational level.
Wow.
Maybe you can add this disclaimer: know your financial limitation and make sure you pick activities that can be supported by your finance, do the hobbies that interest you, and do them for your interest, not just to attract men and be a pick-me-girl. Only when you do something you truly enjoy will it enrich your life.
Not needed, bit obvious, and she never said to be that, she said to level up.
She doesn’t need to add that disclaimer, it’s common sense.
If you're watching RUclips videos, there are many videos that can teach you workouts, art, and intellectual endeavors. Libraries and museums are free. Listening to music is free. There are so many free activities, you just have to be creative.
Basically said a disclaimer at 4:20
Did anyone watch this video for long enough to reach that disclaimer? 😂
I don't know why this appeared as a suggested video for me, but it gave me 'how to impress others' vibes from the start.
And also - what's levelling up?
To me, it's about finding fulfilment in life.
I need to get back into my hobbies, depression is eating me alive right now and I think getting back into it will help.
it absolutely will ❤
All the best babe❤
@@lavi_arun thank you, I'm happy to say that I'm in a way better place now. I found a family, have two people who are like loving parents to me, I've found a career path after getting into my hobbies again and my romantic life is looking good as well.

how are you babe?
I left my emotionally abusive boyfriend a week ago and your videos help a lot! 🙏🏻💖
Wishing only the best for you my friend!
I don’t know you , but I am soooo happy for you ! As a person who can relate and took way too long to leave my own emotionally abusive relationship , good for you for having the courage to do that . I hope you find peace and happiness !

So proud of you.
Now is your time. 👏👏👏
I hope everyone gets to do the things they truly like one day
Here are my current hobbies, any feedback is appreciated ❤
1. Reading japanese literature and italian poetry
2. Aromatherapy
3. Herbalism (I especially love growing and making my own teas)
4. Walking
5. Travelling
6. Visiting museums (at least 3 per month)
I feel like I need more active hobbies and I am not sure of visiting museums counts 😅
we have a lot in common!
@@melissamoonchild9216 Oh my gosh that's so cool!!! I also studied art in art school, but I had to drop out 💖
@@tmc1373 Hi!
Unless you are driving yourself, you will probably have some time to read a few pages daily 😊
2. Do aromatherapy in the background! It works great while you are working out (yoga, pilates, etc.), studying (you can use scents like sweet orange to boost your productivity), doing skincare, while cleaning and etc.
3. Pick herbs that grow with minimal effort in your conditions! If you live in appartment it could be some thyme on a windowsil, for me it is mint plant (I always have 3 varieties of it growing outside, it's almost impossible to kill)
For my country, we have a free museum day every last Sunday of the month, so I always keep that Sunday clear of all plans ✨️
Hope this helps 💕
This came at the perfect time - one of my New Year's Resolutions is to develop socially, and I'd started making my own list of interests before coming across this video! One more category I'm going to push myself to do is volunteering in areas that matter to me. Here's a to a meaningful 2024!
Love this!
Awesome! Please, don't slack
I have all 3 😅 And I genuinely consider myself a happy person.
My physical hobby is horseback riding (it is so good for my mental health too!), creative one is painting and intellectual one is reading. This is a perfect combination, as I can do these activities all year round, both indoor and outdoor. People always tell me how vibrant and excited I look and that my eyes are filled with passion 😅
I wish everyone find their favorite hobbies ❤
Can you learn horseback riding in your 30s?
@@stayxskzleebit6030 absolutely! I’ve seen people learning it in their late 40s and doing very good!
@@stayxskzleebit6030 Yes, you can.
In high value category, there should be more things like, archery, sword fighting, shooting, target practice, the list is literally endless.
Those are only examples, we all know the list is endless, no worries.

2. Heavily invest in my former hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, dancing & singing
3. Learning how to cook
4. Learning how to invest
May add some more along the way, but I think my plate is full at the moment.

Hey!
I want to work on myself this year too!
Would you like to become email buddies to build accountability? (Fortnightly/monthly)
I’m sure he’d tell men the same thing.)
Traveling is a great hobby, too. If you can travel internationally, do it.
My current obsession is perfume. Learning about the different notes is great, but I really like learning about the culture, science, and geography involved in the process.
Where do you learn about perfumes? I’ve always loved them but curious to know if there are classes or just learning through your own research?
No wonder I'm depressed
how its going?
Wow, I am in a belly dance troupe with a group of supportive women. I have considered stopping, but this is a sign to continue. Thank you.
Do what you like because you like it not because you think it’s going to make you someone special. Doesn’t matter how basic the hobby is it’s amazing that you can do it.
My hobbies!
Exercise: ballet & street dancing
Creative: sewing & knitting
Sport: horseback riding
Culinary: baking
Cultural: piano, violin & I’m planning to learn French!😊
One question, how do you manage to have so many hobbies? Economically and time-wise 😮
This helps me not to get bored with something as I’d just follow the current passion/flow I have.🙂
I see, thank you for explaining it to me😊 ❤
You inspired me to resume activities I have neglected for years!
what are your hobbies
Haven't even started the video yet bc I wanna take notes but I figured I'd share 😅😊❤
Editing to add: my boyfriend has been so supportive, he even made some gingerbread cookies with me last night lol🥰

Ahhh, this video was such good confirmation. I do ballet, salsa, play the flute, do dressage(horseback riding), and love cooking and real estate investing. Femininity is natural for us. Nurture those nudges.
Oh. I thought horse back riding was called equestrian riding, didn't know it was dressage😅
@@alexandrakendall-hall900 oh alright. Thank you for the clarification 🤗👍

You speak of your little girl so highly ❤ she’s lucky to be so respected!
Good job 👏
I love this!!! I like how you guys do hobbys together!!
Hey may I give a little harmless tip?
How about you also enroll her in kick boxing or some self defense classes? With how dusty males are getting each passing year I think it's highly important to learn how to defend one self if ever needed.
Kundalini yoga is spiritually dangerous it opens up to demonic possession
I love sewing, crochet, embroidery etc but I do these in secret because I'm afraid that people consider these as grandma hobbies and would be turned off if I mentioned them. 😅
Those are beautiful timeless hobbies. I am really sad that I forgot how to knit. My granny taught me when I was little but I didn't quite catch it.
No way! You are cool 😎🆒
This reminds me of working on improving personal P.I.E.S. (physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual) ❤
I absolutely LOVE doing paint by numbers while I watch shows. It’s SO satisfying & relaxing.
I love that too! I recently got large paint by numbers canvas with acrylic paint set, I will hang it on the wall once finished.
How many successful relationships have you had?
“It is amazing to me,” said Bingley, “how young ladies have patience to be so very accomplished as they all are.”
“All young ladies accomplished! My dear Charles, what do you mean?”
“Yes, all of them, I think. They all paint tables, cover screens, and net purses. I scarcely know any one who cannot do all this, and I am sure I never heard a young lady spoken of for the first time without being informed that she was very accomplished.”
“Your list of the common extent of accomplishments,” said Darcy, “has too much truth. The word is applied to many a woman who deserves it no otherwise than by netting a purse, or covering a screen. But I am very far from agreeing with you in your estimation of ladies in general. I cannot boast of knowing more than half a dozen, in the whole range of my acquaintance, that are really accomplished.”
“Nor I, I am sure,” said Miss Bingley.
“Then,” observed Elizabeth, “you must comprehend a great deal in your idea of an accomplished woman.”
“Yes, I do comprehend a great deal in it.”
“Oh! certainly,” cried his faithful assistant, “no one can be really esteemed accomplished who does not greatly surpass what is usually met with. A woman must have a thorough knowledge of music, singing, drawing, dancing, all the modern languages, to deserve the word; and besides all this, she must possess a certain something in her air and manner of walking, the tone of her voice, her address and expressions, or the word will be but half deserved.”
“All this she must possess,” added Darcy, “and to all this she must yet add something more substantial, in the improvement of her mind by extensive reading.”
“I am no longer surprised at your knowing only six accomplished women. I rather wonder now at your knowing any.”
I have a tip; check and see if your local community college offers any free or low-cost classes for non-students. A lot of them are online-only and you can take at your own pace! Over the spring I took accounting and communication courses just for fun as new skills to learn!

People please let 2024 be the year everyone gets hobbies.
I agree with you and your list. I just can’t afford most hobbies.
It’s insane, how many people underestimate the value of hobbies and knowledge when it comes to socialising, the example you used of the wine is perfect, not everybody knows details about it, all sorts of wine and something simple, yet uncommon can give you such an advantage in conversation/social situations
Now in this economy is hard to do all of that when everything is going up prices and you are a single mom working to jobs to make ends meet.

The point is having hobbies you enjoy to enrich you and make you a more rounded person. These are just examples, the list is endless.
@@vaderladyl 'quality' is a completely subjective metric, though. That's the point I'm making.

I have tried n tested everything.. but even guys come n say ki u look amazing.. if u would have been a Lil tall I would have fallen for u for sure.. 🥺💔
How tall are you?. Find short guys to date then they can’t judge your height
Those men were probably trying to neg you, just walk away lol
Also reframe it in your mind, use positive words like petite, not short, and if the women you look at as beautiful are the tall supermodel type, find women more like yourself to celebrate. Kylie Minogue comes to mind, she's a bit older now but everyone loves Kylie and she's tiny 💕
@@SR-mv2mf I'm 5 n the guy (my college tym crush) was 5'4 who said to me that tym.. 8 yrs back n I still remember each n every word.. i never dated any guy after that bcz i was pretty sure they would make joke of me n i couldn't handle that.. I have pretty much stayed in my room at every possible event where I could have met good guys..
some of my favorite's.

I love this you just validated my apparently "weird little lifestyle". 😂
Great video! I would also suggest travelling and volunteering as high value hobbies.
I just started mermaid swimming! It is so fun and creative. I also make gorgeous cakes and have a home bakery
Do what you can. Already doing what you do is plenty. You are fine.
I can't drink so i can't do wine.
I will take up ⛳️ 🏌️♂️ 😊
The term High Value has a death grip on these lifestyle gurus. Reminds me of the "low vibrational" plate meme 😂
I just saw all my hobbies in the thumbnail! Except painting is becoming my profession. I’m a hot girl?! Love this ♥️
My physical hobby is yoga (I got my yoga teacher training certification this year), running and strength training.
Since when did "hobbies" get redefined? So, now it's not about doing what makes you happy but rather what makes you hot?😂😂😂😂 You guys are funny!😂
No, the point is that it makes you a rounded person and by default, that is very attractive
They're like answer me 2 questions:
1) How hot is she?
Only listing sports that are traditionally financially and socially exclusive really misses the mark on what it means to be high value.
as a knitter it makes me so happy to hear other people getting into knotting! it is such a satisfying hobby!

All the hobbies I’m passionate about, plus working, I don’t have time to date anyway 😅
badass. Krav maga is brutal 😅❤
@@melissamoonchild9216 I had to have something badass to counteract all the ninety year old granny homesteader hobbies I’m equally crazy about 😆
Hypothesis formula: A+B+C+E+F= Martial Arts+opportunity to meet hot guys during training😂
i love your videos, do you have any books you would like to share that have changed your perspective in a positive way/ helped you become a more feminine woman?
Vicikitaaaa ❤❤❤❤❤ can you bring some high paying careers for women as welll ?
I love all your videos but that’s not how sommelier is pronounced. It’s pronounced French and sounds actually pretty fancy ❤ no hate - just looking out for a sister
Really amazing summary - great video as always, thank you
