could you add subtitles for the times the wind cuts off his words? Also I just realized the ABC's, no abrasions, bulges or cuts. I'm scheduled for orientation this May 6th in Springfield and have been looking for pre trip stuff on youtube. This was helpful thanks.

That's pretty involved, it took almost 20 minutes. I wonder if all the truckers do such a thorough inspection. Angel seems to know his stuff! He seems like a nice young man, I'm glad you got someone like him to train. How long does he need to stay in training before he can drive by himself? Safe travels, hope the wife and girls are doing well.
I've seen other drivers that have RUclips channels and haven't seen them do a pretrip ever. Hopefully they're just cutting out the footage and not showing it.
@@cmoore7821 Some show it like this channel, in almost every video, some doesn't. Whichever fits their style, but cutting it off doesn't meant they don't do pre/post- trip.
Good morning he’s doing psd phase with me learning all the pretrip pad backing and driving out here in the real world. He will test out soon to get his cdl license he only has a learners permit right now. After that he needs to drive either me or another tnt trainer 50k miles before he can go back and do few more classes that’s to upgrade into his own truck. He is doing well he’s getting everything down and understands the key points which is important. My wife and daughters are doing great. Thank you 🙏
Also I don’t see a lot of drivers doing pretrip at all they just wake up get in the driver seat and drive off but there is a few old time truckers that do pretrip daily and I see them but as far as I see only like 10% do a pretrip others just drive away
Driver side fuel area involves the door and hinges ….. exhaust system….. drive shaft…..torque arm…. U bolts …. Shock absorbers…. Brake chamber….. I’m sure he didn’t mention these during that driverside….
Oh I see what you’re saying now they actually took a bunch of things out of the pretrip now so that’s no included. It’s very stupid I agree when I came before thru prime the pretrip was like 6-8 pages now it’s only 3 pages 🤷♂️ and they took a bunch of the backing away too on the pad for the test out.

No disrespect but he this a student doing the pre trip? Is the pre trip for prime not as detailed? Im planning on applying as a student driver but he missed alot of things on the engine, tractor, trailer and in cab
They changed the pretrip a lot when I came to prime the pretrip was covering everything and every part it had 9 pages same thing with backing use to have 8 backing manuvers now it’s only 3 sheets of paper of pretrip they removed a ton of stuff out and the backing is only 4 manuvers 🤦🏼♂️ way easier than before to get a cdl now a days
@@RunningOTR i have a cdl i was applying to work there as a new driver out of school. How many backing maneuvers are there currently if you know? Do you have a video on them I was watching your vids yesterday
@@dnoiam6626 there is 4 manuvers I don’t have a video on them because you’re not allowed to record the pad. Aldo if you got a cdl there won’t be a need to do them I think but I might be wrong I know some people get hired on and go do the 30k miles with a trainer I would ask a recruiter for 100 percent answer
