Speaking of the last part, my dad spoke to his lawyer on that part and he told him to not sign the papers. Besides that he was innocent and the policemen that arrested my dad knew that, and because his other coworkers or partners made fun of him because he arrested the wrong guy, he got mad and still wanted to arrest my dad, the guy they were supposed to arrest left a car in the middle of a highway in Texas, Nebraska, and in some other place. Because my dad didn't sign the papers that said that he committed the crime, the cop got mad and said "If you aren't gonna sign the papers then I'm signing saying that you are guilty, so we can deport you back to Mexico" The only illegal thing my dad did was crossing the border. And before he got arrested he had already noticed that he was being watched and by police offers, when he was at work. The day he got arrested he noticed that he was being followed, and he didn't want anything to happen to me, my mom and my siblings, so he went to Walmart and called my aunt while he bot groceries,he avoided calling my mom so they couldn't track her down, because he was scared that they'd separate me and my siblings from them, because during that time Trump was president and they were separating kids born in the US from there immigrant parents, while the parents would get deported. So we wouldn't get separated, me, my mom and my siblings left the US in April, and my dad was arrested and deportes in November and December. That's also how I ended up living in Mexico
That's literally what you're supposed to do. You don't say "Oh, was I speeding?" Because now you’re getting a ticket for a broken tail-light and for going over the speed limit even when you weren't. In the US of A at least the only thing you need to do when pulled over is present license and registration, I think.

I was arrested for killing a cop when I was a teenager. I never killed her. I called the police. I called them asking for help. They didn’t believe me. And when the real shooter came back he started shooting at me and in the chaos the police officer that managed to survive ran out of cover because he thought he was running into cover but he never saw me with a gun. Point is the surviving officer wasn’t a credible witness in his own case because he was so scared that he didn’t even notice the real shooter in the car behind him. He handcuffed me. He threw me onto my chest with handcuffs on. Then he knocked me out. A month later I wake up in jail asking “where am I” and “what am I doing here” and one police officer told me to shut up and the my lawyer was here. I went to court with amnesia. I couldn’t even defend myself properly because they couldn’t remember what happened. The lawyer told me the judge wouldn’t believe me and tried to get me to sign a paper admitting to guilt. Luckily during court the police officer made a mistake and I demanded he remind me so that I can adequately defend myself. But to this day I still don’t remember what happened to me during that month in jail. I was innocent. I was the one who called the police because some guy started shooting at me. When the police showed up the guy came back to finish the job but he got one of the police officers instead. The surviving officer called me an accomplice. He was probably screwing her and needed someone to blame. He saw that I never had a gun but claimed that I threw it before he cuffed me.

Shut up and let the legal scholar do the talking
I work as a substitute teacher. And one time we were in the faculty lounge and a teacher asked another teacher, "How are the third graders?" He kept saying, "I invoke the sixth". I said the what? And the other teacher said, "The sixth. The right to remain silent". I didn't want to seem rude and say well that's the fifth amendment, not the sixth. I never understood why all the teachers around thought it was the sixth!

@@victorflantier9024I think it’s fair to say that just because police may be an effective deterrent for crime doesn’t mean the system we have in place is good. It’s good that the police are effectively doing their jobs, but many of their behaviors with trying to loophole innocent people into seeming guilty is still a symptom of a flawed system that can and ought to be improved.
Because my dad didn't sign the papers that said that he committed the crime, the cop got mad and said "If you aren't gonna sign the papers then I'm signing saying that you are guilty, so we can deport you back to Mexico"
The only illegal thing my dad did was crossing the border.
Saying : "I invoke the 5th" is like activating a trap card in Yu-Gi-Oh
I have watched so many interrogation videos and whether the suspects were guilty or not, none of them asked for a lawyer. It’s mind blowing.
That's because the police will do anything in there power to get you convicted
If they pull that third one on me I finna become a criminal cuz that’s scummy behavior.
Why would they even try so hard to get someone falsely incarcerated? Do they get paid by the arrest? Do they crave the attention? I don't get it.

How to talk to the cops:
Don’t, get someone else to do it for you
So what do you do when you are speaking to a lawyer? Like what do you say to them?
>Like what do you say to them?
The truth, a good lawyer knows what to do from there.
First thing you're going to need to tell them is in whose custody you are, so they know where you come get you. Probably the second thing is gonna be how you intend to pay the retainer.
The police can't really coarse an innocent person to confess when a lawyer is in the room
Best acting in all of RUclips

Tbh it should be illegal for cops to twist your words
Step 1: Better call Saul
Do cops get paid for putting you into a guilty situation?
More funding for "fighting" crime
No. There is no quota.
There may be goons sent by politicians such as Galvin and whatnut...
But ultimately, there is no quota.
Cops don't get paid for making you look guilty
Cops don't get paid for distributing tickets
They only get paid by the hour
No, not at all. Law enforcement are salary based, nothing more.
So it's not like "incentive" thing in law enforcement
For promotions
