As a huge, Rammstein fan, dating back to hearing Du Hast in 1998, I love that their style of music is being preserved and expanded through your incredible music artistry.

For me, the whole thing has a "Neue Deutsche Welle" vibe. This was a very popular style of music in Germany at the beginning of the 80s.

It's definitely an interesting take on it. I think it could have used a operatic middle eight... A part where the majority of the instruments drop out or simplify and the vocals can open up. Songs like Ohne Dich, Adieu, and the outro of Nebel come to mind. When you hear maiden live Bruce dickinson has a fantastic range in his vocals and I think this could have been written a bit better to reflect dynamic range both bands can have, if that makes sense.
Either your Till keeps improving or i'm just hungover, either way finding this banger first thing in the morning is a sweet surprise.
This was a fascinating idea executed very well. It was very natural. I felt like Iron Maiden could have done this in the same arrangement, and German.
But let me suggest Inna Godda Davida by Rammstein.

This really pushes the 80s origin of the song forward while still sounding like Rammstein.
Reminds me more of Laibach around the "Opus Dei" days than Rammstein and that's not a bad thing 🙂
