The amount of R&D that went into this board must have been insane. It’s truly unique and it looks like every detail down to the packaging was carefully thought out. Great high quality video.
I am a keyboard maker myself and I would like to praise the pcb design. That really is something I have never seen before, and I doubt it will be easy for copycats to try and copy that. Well done! Also the case.... I didn't see any screws! I must say tho..... I wish you showcased the flex of the board a bit more. It looks like it has outplayed the flex of jelly epoch and spring. Whoever can grab one of these is a lucky ba$t@rd.
Is that the starlight color? I get the impression that it's more dull in the video and in the photos on their site than in real life (not your fault just how cameras work)... would you say that's correct? Also, could you upload a video showing the typing flex once fully assembled?? Thanks for the consideration!
It actually sounds good is therr any pe foam? Like it doesn't sound like a traditional pe foam board. It kind of reminds me of some older open style boards in sound.
I see they went with the Avalanche keyboard that had the detachable numpad to put on either side of the board, and detachable audio knob with OLED screen keyboard box presentation with the drawers for each separate part. Think more custom mech keeb companies should do that instead of just putting it in a fairly cheap zippered foam Case.
If this was complicated for you..well, that’s kinda weird lul. This is more straightforward than their other boards, especially the Spring Edit: it’s like four steps lol
Classic owlabs just trying to make a quick buck. What a terrible board. And of course they literally make a collapsible ladder as a PCB. And fill it to the brim with foam. So tired of them. This is just a qk65. Blocky same weight seriously I cringe when I see an owlabs board now days and I wish that wasn't the case but after the Mr suit...
CLASSIC YOUNG COMPANY THAT PRODUCED SOME OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AND WELL RECEIVED GROUP BUYS OF ALL TIME, AND RECENTLY HAS PRODUCED ONE OF THE BEST BANG FOR BUCK BOARDS EVER IN THE QK65. HOW DARE THEY STILL BE USING AND ADVANCING UPON THINGS THAT BECAME POPULAR A YEAR AGO. WHY ARE THEY EVEN USING "FOAM" WHEN THEY COULD USE DINOSAUR EGGS?
@@seanofthezo advancing is a bit much. More like repetition and just in it for the money because they just make the same product over and over again but with a minor changes and rebrand it as a new board. The voice 65 was such a nice board. The jelly was really unique in discovering pe foam. And the suit was really well designed. Everything else is just so bland and clearly made for just profit and not because they want to put out a nice product
@@beanbean5934 Not sure if you've watched the video, but do you hear any rattle? Also, how do people forget that foam is removable??? Is this some kind of sacred knowledge that people don't know about? Of course they're going to take what worked from the QK and add onto it. If you don't agree with the upcharge for the unique mounting style, PCB, combo of matte and glossy finishes that's cool. but to say it's just a rehashed QK for extra charge is severely ill-informed.
Really great video and coverage of this board. That leaf mount looks so interesting!
Didn’t expect to see you here!

I’m disgusted at how much innovation they’ve crammed into this. And here I was thinking I could save some money this month.
What clock is that?
I am glad I am not the only one that thought to ask this. I too would like to know what clock that is 😅
I also would like to know lmao
Not sure on the model but its a flip clock :).

Oh that's why. I like the color scheme and the novelty keys.
That sounds so clean, like that little clack
Oooh my. Can you make a video on the flex this board has?

What color is applied to the keyboard in the video?
I believe its starlight. My spring is the same color
@@pyotrh Thank you. I should buy Starlight, too. That's nice
that's nuts.... is it an unli group buy
Owlabs..... probably not
Probably in stock but it shouldn’t be too hard to get since the mech market has slowed down a lot.

Looks less surprise than evert Owlab keyboard? Even the QK65
准备和你做一样的搭配 实在是太毒了,红绿灯加星光

Super Mario
anyone in Brisbane Australia could pick it up from me just a white and gold one
I can't afford this keyboard

too bad the link65 is a flop in the sound department, looks great though
