Can the tps be removed when rack is installed ? What do you know regarding the noise factor ? I have a 2022 Bronco and I am trying to decide which is the best application . Thank you
Yes, the front top panels can be removed! Once you get anything on your roof you will notice some noise, we have not had any customer comment on it or say that it is very loud, which is a good thing :) Cheers, Team Modula
Did the mounting brackets that came with the Condor fit the ZROADZ rack or did you have to order special brackets? Putting a 2023 Condor on this rack this week and the mounting brackets that came from roofnest don't fit the front crossbar width, and also don't allow enough clearance for the nut to fit high enough on the bolt.
Hi There, Yes, you will want to slide the tent slide with the M8 bolt into the tent slides that run front to back. You will then want to align the tent with the factory cut outs in the cross bars of the ZRoadz. As mentioned, it is a tight squeeze getting your hands and tools in there but it can be done! Cheers, Team Modula
@@ModulaRackswish me luck 😂 I had to go buy some longer bolts to make it work and am now trying to figure out how the hell i’m going to tighten those bolts through the tiny gap!
@@emilyplummer4381 It can help to remove the front hard tops to get access to the front bolts. The rear bolts do require some awkward bends of the wrist! Best of luck :) Cheers, Team Modula
I have two questions, can the removable roof panels still come off with this rack in place? And can a conventional Thule ski box connect to those flat rails?
Hi There, Yes, you can remove the roof panels with the rack installed! No, I don't believe a cargo box would fit, most modern cargo boxes do not have a flat bottom and would not attach to the rails. Cheers, Team Modula
Hi Emily, If you could get a second cross bar made or ordered, you likely could attach some sort of box in the front. A traditional Thule Cargo Box would not work, but something like a Zarges case or Pelican case likely could be adapted!
Huge Help to see this - thanks for posting - installing that rack this weekend
Receiving my roof rack from zroadz today 👍🏻
Enjoy the new rack!

Do you think you could fit some sort of cargo box in front of the condor?
