Really wish you guys uploaded this before I installed mine last month! This is one of the best racks on the market right now, but man the instructions are pretty bad. It was more like 24 beers for me and my brother!

Just got mine and can confirm.. instructions were non existent in my shipment lol thankfully the video trailrax has/this video for installation helped a lot. The only weird part was my pieces weren't stamped with arrows so I had to take some time to look at pictures/videos to make sure I was putting the right pieces in the right places. Fantastic rack though.
Watching this gave me a lot of anxiety, LOL. You guys handled it very well!

Awesome video of the Trailrax system. Not sure why they give you the chrome nuts and bolts to finish the Pak Rax install as everything else is beautiful black. Also can you add a video on your Instagram feed showing the Trailrax installed and taking off the front two roof panels and then the middle roof panel? That's one of the primary reasons why I would switch to this roof rack from the Ford Roof Rack... Thanks!
agreed. would be great to see the roof panels coming off to know they can do it. zroadz can only take front panels off, not middle...

Great job showing the issues you had installing and what had to be done. Design and quality control needs to be addressed apparently but overall a good looking rack system. I wish the front wind deflector didn't have that arc and just straight for a better look.
but, I think you will appreciate the arc, versus the WHISTLE and wind noise that the straight cut would cause.

Btw, its a pain to remove the top after you add the rack. Add another 30min.
I added studs to my front accesory point so i can add my light bar to the front too.
What about wind noise?
[Re: Instruction Manual Problem with the Carriage Bolts.] Thanks for identifying the problem in the instructions that omitted where to use the carriage bolts. Just to be clear, you’re saying (at 19:30 in the video) that you didn’t need to modify the sliders with a cut because you were supposed to have used the carriage bolts instead?
Exactly. Had the instructions and their video been updated at the time of install, we would not have needed to do any modifications.
@@MiddletonMotorsports The carriage bolts were intended to be used with the light bar mount (confirmed this with support). I ended up doing the same thing and chopping a couple mm off of one of the T nuts with an angle grinder before they responded though. I
Do you guys make one for the soft top, Or at least adapter pieces so I can switch between tops
So are the top still removable? Can I get rid of the clamps on the hard top? And just use the side straps on the soft top.

Does the wind deflector have mounting holes for a light bar ?
Comes with an insert if you get the one with the lightbar cutout
Can the roof panels still be removed with the rack on?
Only the front 2 panels can be removed.

Will this also fit a soft top? Why is nobody making a rack? That will convert for a hard top soft top bikini top, no top, it's ridiculous. It's not that hard to do. Come down with the sides. Let it mount under the shell. Just like you do on the soft top underneath to the body. And you can put mulle racks on the side simple.
