Think Soma's enjoying a bit of a buff after 1999, due to Worthy Comradery and Acuity working to give it much higher crits than it previously had. Ironically it's still lagging a bit due to the way Tenacious Bond and now Arcane Crepuscular have tipped the scale back towards crit chance over crit damage. Burston giving you Truth parkour means I'm always running it or Telos Boltor, and Burston is definitely the higher performance option.
@shotgun6X you should definitely take a look then, tbh I do not like it because I'm used to use soma for crits, but the incarnon form has less crits, which is really weird, specially since there are incarnon weapons that can do all without any trade off
True, I think they designed it specifically for hunter munitions. With the dumb high multishot, it should proc a ton of slash. I’ve tried it with hata-satya, critical delay, and shred, and it was hitting orange crits in incarnon. Wish it was red critting, but that base crit is low :/
@@HairlessPersian the weapon is mostly slash by default as well They definitely did design it around the idea of proccing a bunch of slash, not realizing that the days of slash procs are mostly long gone
The Vasto and Soma are the best of this week, but im still pissed that in 2025 theres still brainrot about the soma incarnon being worse than normal form, people truly dont bother reading the arsenal these days.

Soma incarnon is really disappointing, it was THE crit primary back in the day, now its just a long range status shotgun
