I feel like volt is a lot better for the general fast paced gameplay missions, whereas mag has better scaling into long endurance missions. Both are goated frames honestly, and I've only recently started making a proper mag build because of aoi lol. She is really fun.
She's not generally complicated or complex, she just has an unusual playstyle that relies on enemy presence, good placement, and good positioning for her survivability, tasks that add up a bit for a new player who doesn't even have the movement system down nor solid energy economy management yet.
It's also kind of counterintuitive for new players to realize that facing an entire army is a walk in the park for Mag main, but a one-on-one fight is existentially terrifying
As a thorough Mag enjoyer, I am so glad to see this video. She is absolutely ridiculous, and unfathomably strong. So great to see your builds and content, Kyaii! She's gotten so many of my forma (and my money when I bought the Zenith collection), and I've found her to be so much fun that I've used her almost as much as my first prime frame, Saryn. After 4500 hours in the game, it's great to see people bring attention to her again. :)
2:47 just made me feel really old lmao. For anyone interested, it worked on orbs when the augment first came out, but at that time Ceres was one of the highest level planets and the Draco node was an Interception mission. It was the main place people would go to level their gear using Radial Javelin Excalibur, Roar Rhino and Greedy Pull Mag. Mag pulling in all the energy orbs sustained the Excal as well as bringing in all the other resources. As a response DE nerfed the Augment to stop pulling in energy orbs.
i'm not 100% sure but i remember greedy pull being super overpowered at some point because it was able to pull orbs which made camping in a single room on mag extremely easy for long endurance runs with players using frames like mesa who could use peacemaker indefinitely as long as mag was able to pull energy orbs to her. I'm pretty sure that this resulted in DE changing it to no longer pick up orbs to prevent camping with a teammate using ability's like mesa's peacemaker indefinitely ( I don't remember if I'm correct, but I'm pretty sure this is why greedy pull doesn't pull orbs).
Might I suggest using Blood Altar from Garuda in place of Pull and then using the Latron Incarnon. The Incarnon shots are affected by Magnetize so it turns it into a Magnetized Blender Bubble and Blood Altar makes it so that the Magnetized enemy is gonna be around for the duration of the ability instead of the bubble disappearing after the enemy dies.
This is a pretty good guide, it's nice to FINALLY see a good in depth Mag guide on RUclips after all these years. Though if I might critique a few things, it's the explanation of hit registration, and the focus on Arca Plasmor. Hit Registration: There is no rule saying a projectile can only hit an enemy X times, this is simply not a thing. Phenmor does not have infinite enemy punch through, it only has 3.0m of it. Exergis has infinite enemy punch through, it will circle inside a bubble forever until it touches terrain, regardless of how many times it hits enemies. If you're confused about why Nataruk usually only hits enemies a single time, it's just a bug specific to Nataruk. Arca Plasmor: It's a fantastic weapon with Magnetize, but it's far from her "best weapon". The "absorb damage" is not really relevant for Arca Plasmor, it doesn't have enough raw DPS to amplify the absorb damage to any useful value. It's fantastic for killing enemies inside of Magnetize, but not good for buffing the Magnetize bubbles themselves. The title of "Mag's Best Weapon" is reserved only for Akbronco Prime, with the Damzav-Vati augment. This weapon can pump 200k DPS into a Magnetize bubble every two seconds. This is a significantly larger damage value than any other weapon in the game.
So does this mean I can have my exergis bullets in the bubble hitting multiple times as long as I don’t aim for the top of the bubble ? (To avoid the bullets hitting the floor)
@jpmorgan6146 Aiming for the top of the bubble won't affect where the projectiles end up, only the path they take. Regardless of where in the bubble you shoot, the projectiles will fly to the center and get trapped there. The projectiles' vertical positions will be quite constant around half of the bubbles height. The horizontal position is affected by projectile speed, slower projectiles will do smaller circles inside of the bubble.
Another thing to mention for new players.. choosing Mag will get you through the junction boss fights super easily.. all you have to do it cast magnetize on them, and theyll kill themselves with their own bullets
As someone with 300+ hours on mag, and level cap runs in many different modes, her 3 is so incredibly useless nowadays. Her 4 already fully armor strips, CCs all enemies without overguard for 3-4 seconds, and fully restores your shields + overshields with every cast if you have even decent range. The only thing her 3 does is create polarize shards, but those are effectively useless. Replacing her 3 with breach surge was the best decision I ever made and is the only build I’ve been running for around a year. Her 2 and 3 (breach surge) both have damage MULTIPLIERS, so they will infinitely scale damage to all enemies inside. As long as there are 3-4 or more enemies in her magnetize bubble, casting 2,3,4 will kill every single enemy in the bubble within around 4 seconds every time. No weapon required at all. She can also be modded however you want. With arcane resistance, using her 4 every once in a while makes you literally unkillable from anything other than direct toxin damage. Her 2,3,4 combo is an infinitely scaling nuke. Because of that, her “best” build in my opinion, isn’t one that gives her 10,000% strength or some stupid stat. It’s completely about QoL. Breach surge is the obvious helminth choice to give her the infinitely scaling, ability only, nuke. Her strength only needs to be at 134% to full strip with 4. Other than that, I go full range and efficiency. 40% duration is enough for her 2,3,4 combo to kill just about anything in the game, and then the bubble detonates soon after everything inside it is dead (because I hate when there are bubbles lasting forever all over the place that just absorb all my projectiles and make it impossible to shoot anything near the bubbles). Then I have 235% range for a huge bubble radius and almost guaranteed full shields/overshields from every cast of her 4. 175% efficiency and energy nexus is so comfy. I can practically sit still in a level cap mission and always have enough energy to cast my 4 without even needing to kill anything. It prevents the case that so many builds have where slowing down for a bit will destroy your energy economy and get you killed or force you to play safe until an energy drops. Yet another thing I love about this build is there isn’t a single duration based ability that you have to manage. Almost every single frame in the game has an ability that you have to keep up at all times or you become significantly weaker. From DR abilities, to roar/nourish/eclipse, I just don’t like these abilities. My mag setup has 4 abilities that I just use whenever I want. There is nothing that I have to keep up at all times for my build to function at maximum effectiveness. At the end of the day, mag can be built so many ways. I prefer mine since it allows for an infinitely scaling nuke with breach surge, whatever weapons I want to use since I don’t need certain ones for her 2,3,4 nuke, infinite energy without requiring high kpm, no ability uptime management, and so much more. Just such a comfy build that can easily level cap and do any content in the game.
Why breach surge over her 3 and not her 1? I'm not a Mag main so im genuinely curious. Personally I don't understand why you'd want pull, at least the shards help with some kind of dps? especially with that low duration... the only reason i've heard is to pull enemies into your 2, but if its going to disappear that quickly, and nuke everything around it anyway? Not a criticism, just a player wanting to try mag and understand her options better. I love the idea of your build though and I'll definitely be trying it out myself! Maybe it'll convert me into a Mag main lol
I have to personally disagree with polarize being useless. Due to it being a one-handed ability, you can cast it in an emergency whenever you want as well as having a very short cast animation to shield gate. I love the counter pulse mod personally, but it isn’t necessary. I have surge on one of my build subsumed over pull because with enough range, her two becomes enough grouping.
@@not_ei1240because imo, her 3 is completely useless. Even though her 1 is very rarely useful, i still use it once in a blue moon. To pull a bunch of enemies for free ground finishers or easy combo buildup or something. It’s also just way more comfortable for me to cast 2nd, 3rd, and 4th abilities with my bindings. But yeah getting rid of her 1st is perfectly fine.
Well of life over 1 is one of the best subsumes you can have, you can have 3 wells active and 3 bubbles aswell as giving 1 free revive and you can stack it with Archon intensify and combat discipline
I mean, the "Mag is complex" thing is more about how she's more complex than the other starter frames, which she definitely is, and not about her being complex in contrast to the whole roster. She definitely is much more complex than Volt or Excal for a new player to learn. Her abilities all have specific synergies with each other, magnetize has it's damage accumulation mechanic, polarize is counterintuitive for a new player to build because it scales off duration instead of range. Overall her kit asks the player to understand the core mechanics of the game a lot more than Volt and Excal do.
While that is technically true, I think it matters a lot less in practice. Take Polarize, her 3rd ability. Yes there's a lot of hidden synergy with the shards and status procs, but at the end of the day all a new player "needs" to know is that it's an expanding bubble that hits shields and overguard. IMO Volt is equally "complex" to play properly, just for different reasons. Excal is simple, but he's only really good for early to mid-game content. IMO she's the best choice if you want a caster style starter
Another fun way to play is to use breach surge and use polarize to trigger the sparks of breach surge. You can get some pretty big numbers that way as well.
Exact way i build my Mag Breach Surge + Polarize Shards with Amour Strip and the Mag Bubble Nukes at just about any level, doesn't matter if its steel path or not. I feel like a Breach Surge build would have been a better option to showcase over the Thermal Sunder build.
@@Vortex-5025no need to use her 3 when you’re using breach surge. Her 2 has a damage multiplier and so does breach surge. After you use them both, doing even 1 damage to the bubble will start the infinite scaling that eventually kills everything within.
@@shank8120 Agree but her Polarize has a damage multiplier as well also you can use her 3 to start that 1 damage instance that will eventually kill everything. So give the option to kill everything without shooting into her bubble and letting polarize do all the work.
As a Mag beginner for few month, i recommend to subsume her 3 into breach surge, it’s a better skills and buff her 2 so much, it’s also a better surviver skill, it’s has longer duration and better damage buff, also her 1 is incredibly more useful than the 3, if u want some enemies to be killed quick, or open them up for finisher, just cast that
every time i see a video from you about a frame i havent put much time into, i always know im about to learn so much more than i would from most other vids. plus ur super slick editing and streamlined explanations makes em engaging. deadass your mesa vid turned me into a diehard mesa main but that might change with this one haha
Thanks so much for the build! I literally searched yesterday if you had a build for mag when i built her. Happy to see a guide right after getting her!!!!
what i also like to do is go low duration so magnetize explodes on its own (since enemies are dead after 1 shot from my Miter Inc.) and using either Garudas or Trinitys subs. to keep the enemy in the air and magnetize them is oooo much fun.
@trippytrev23 so they are not in the way if i wanna shoot different targets or if the tileset has multiple levels the hitbox of the pull is better and so i can make 3 msgnetic pillars in the air or chokepoints in defence missions or netracells
Happy to see some Magnetized Discharge love. A shocking number of builds ignore it and it drives me crazy. Really do wish they’d buff Polarize a bit though - I get it, back in the day it was a genuine problem (with its ability to literally nuke entire corpus tilesets) but I think they really overcorrected with it
Your videos have helped me understand the deeper information of warframe and inspired me to try frames I haven't yet or bounced off of in the past ❤ Definitely helped me get hooked into warframe and im in deep now 😅 I blame you (compliment)
I keep tryna say Mag is the best starter frame regardless of where you are at the game. I started with Mag, got my Mag Prime a few months later, and shes still my top 3 favorites to this day. She is just so comfy and practically unkillable if you're careful. She is the generalist frame of the 3 starters imo Also Aoi is such a lovely babe. I love everything about her
The penta/secura penta is another weapon that's rather amusing to use with Mag, no where near as strong as tenet plasmor but I personally find it funny, the penta grenade inherently just stays around, doesn't detonate until u trigger it, and it does damage on contact too, so the grenade just stays in the magnetize bubble and keeps hitting them
Very nice video as usual. As a Gauss main it warms my heart seeing thermal sunder on different builds for some reason 😆 And oh my god the eximus I thought it was only me...I get all, ALL jade light eximus, especially in techrot underground survival it's in-fucking-sane I hope they fix it at some point
Honorable mention Mag Well of Life build that has gotten even better with the trinity buff. (with an infinite energy option) The gas Nataruk paired with it makes the build even more campy than the other options.
So many years ago I picked mag as my Warframe and I stopped right after in the beginning so not even level 5 on my frame! I started playing in recently again and I have a pretty similar setup but I've been using the Xoris built or I would throw it into the magnetized bubble hitting everybody within it then exploding it inside the bubble I'm definitely going to check out your setup here since I am very new to the game! My buddy actually offered me a bunch of the mods that you showcase today😂
mag is a full package, cc, perma armor strip, weapon strip, disabling robot type enemies and jam weapons.... she also has basically a xata's whisper but BIGGER, prolly less powerful but still powerful. Magnetize bubble serves as her survivability tool too...
I picked mag as my starter frame. I figured while I was learning the game, I wasn't going to be as good, and needed some protection. And I figured there was no better protection than the 100% c.c. of pulling an entire room, and ragdolling them for a bit. Hard stop to the action, get shields, take cover, regroup. And that works. But then i ranked a little and unlocked magnetize. And now... i can amend the previous statement. There is no better CC than grouping, passively dealing damage that scales with the enemy, armor stripping, auto head shots, and nuking the room. Because the best way to stay alive is to just kill everything else first. Oh, and the CC is fun to yoink enemies around.
Hey kyaii, would love to see a xaku perfected vid maybe in the future! Ive seen the older xaku vid but a lot has changed and xaku has benefited from recent changes more than other frames I feel. Great video bro!!!
Something worth mentioning if it's not stated in the video (I didn't watch the whole thing yet) . All weapons except for Tenet Arca Plasmor require 2 enemies to be hitting multiple times. As for general tips and guns. 1. When you are shooting sphere - aim up - head shots almost guaranteed. 2. Onos, Sicarus Incarnon, Dual Toxocyst are your best friends for secondaries. 3. No beam weapons. 4. First power is pretty meh and almost always is free subsume, but if you don't run Breach Surge or Nourish - better subsume third power. 5. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF YOU RUN NATARUK - PICK BLACK ENERGY COLOR. 6. Run exclusively Madurai - it's casting speed is very good. Huge QoL all in all and gives you some strength. Also very fine for Void Cascade. 7. Carry a decent melee with great alpha damage (I strongly recommend you using Tenet Exec with Melee Afflictions and primary or secondary with fire or slash damage). You WILL find yourself in situations when there is eximus unit in your bubble, and you pretty much can't shoot it cause of bubble attracting all your shots towards the center. Melee will help you take out the overguard. 8. ONLY MAGNETIC for Tenet Arca Plasmor. 9. Augment for second power is very good. Especially when playing in coordinated party. This can make point 7. of my list almost unnecessary. 10. Have fun! Mag is one of the strongest frames for level cap for sure, but she is a little underwhelming when played in uncoordinated party with Randoms, cause all her skills are very synergistic and/or require to play around them.
@@lostcursor6518 I mean magnetic progenitor. Cause it shreds over guard from enemy units. And overguard is pretty much only thing that interrupts you from doing whatever you want to do with Mag. Other that progenitor element - feel free to go whatever your build needs.
>5. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF YOU RUN NATARUK - PICK BLACK ENERGY COLOR. Nah fam, I'm here to create miniature stars in my little stellar forge. (But I generally run that one solo) (Generally 😈)
3. I know it's a meme that it does everything but Thorid for some unholy reason makes as much beams as there is enemies around the place you shoot (it's like shooting a granade that explodes into beams from every enemy hit) and there is a lot of enemies grouped up in a mag bubble. 5. no. THE POWER OF THE SUN IN THE PALM OF MY HAND, MUAHAHAHA! 8. TOXIN arca so you get magnetic viral and then use breach surge the real GOAT subsume.
I mean is Magnetic progenitor necessary now that we Got magnetic mods with the update? Isnt it better to just run for example as he did heat for 4 combined status types for GALV SAVVY? (Magnetic mod included + Nourish it would be 5). + Have companion like Hound spread magnetic and other statuses as well?
Hitscan weapons are best for maximizing Magnetize’s final blast. (Projectiles do direct damage to enemies and deprives the bubble of those ticks for the final blast) Low duration builds that use enemies for bubble fuels is great for “caterpillaring” and crate breaking.
1 Tauforged Emerald Shard is enough to make Polarize a permanent armor strip. Great for Corrosive Melee builds if you want a more engaging, quicker casting, cheaper shield gate style.
hello, im also a mag main, ive done multiple Void cascade lvl caps on her solo and in squad in the first build, id say molt augmented and umbral intense is enough strength, u dont need blind range, can use prime flow or any other QoL mod also mag refills shields with 3 and 4 so, aura can be holster amp, or worthy comradery for more damage, and arcane steadfast is also beter than energize imo (enrgize is not bad either) the sunder build looks cool too ill try it :) AND I FORGOT, KYAII, U MUST TRY PRISMA ANGSTRUM INC WITH MAG, it kills lvl cap with no galva stacks no armor strip, no priming, and JUST USING 2, in both incarnON and incarnOFF mode
Tried a few years ago and she was not that good but i had modded her wrong. Tried Tactical Potato's build for her after her mini rework and she is great. Lean into her shield gating and she is a tank with no helminth. She is that good.
The Arca Plasmor can take Semi-Shotgun Cannonade, which is almost double the damage of Prime Point Blank. Although you miss out on the multishot, I prefer Fractalized Reset. It's a much faster reload and you're always casting with Mag so it doesn't matter. If you ever get to where the reload buff runs out just cast Pull in the middle of the reload and it's back!
The reason shes not a good initial wf, is not because shes bad. The reason is that enemies at the start die in a few shots, so you dont need magnetize, and are very disperse, so you cant group them up, and you dont get a lot of energy orbs. At that level, instead of spending 50 energy in making a bubble and then shooting it, its easier to just shooting them, or casting a dps ability.
I use her pull ability all the time to group enemies up so i can melee the shit outta them lmfao especially with a good melee with good range and follow thru thats like my main way of playing mag, just pull everything into a pile in front of me and Melee the crap outta them lmao. I use her 4th ability crush alot when i feel like im getting overwhelmed and it serves its purpose as well 😅 tbh the bubble is the one ability of mags that i use the least. I use her polarize to get my shields back mainly but i always slept on her bubble
@@KyleDhiren Agreed, her 4 works great at low lvls, just like volts 4, or even excaliburs 4 in a different way. But group up enemies? why would you do that if theres 1 to 3 enemies at the same time in an extermination, or capture? its easier to just shoot them, or run pass them while swinging. As i said, shes great, but not at low lvl.
@@KingofGoblins1 I'm not really saying she's the best for the low level content but she's a great starter frame to carry you far into the star chart if you have trouble building other frames
Theres a few interesting builds you can do with mag, if you use Trinitys helminth an enemy that's targeted by the bubble it'll make a continuous pull without breaking it when the enemy inevitably is reduced to atoms. Also breach surge crush and the bubble just makes funny number soup 🙃
Mag is cracked for having such low requirements for newbie tennos to build. And she is so effective. Want to add for mag bubble, infinate punchthrough go brr. My favourites are Paris and dread incarnon, but I'm sure there is more funnies. Great video in general kyaii well done. Mag is the GOAT, THE GOAT!
I appreciate the extra craziness of the Tenet Arca Plasmor.. but the Nataruk with a bright Energy color just gives you the power of the sun in the palm of your hand.. lmao.. and with Breach Surge, Crush, and Magnetize.. nearly any gun does similarly in action
fr my current mag setup is literally these but with a couple small differences, and i did like zero research on any of it lol.. Arcane Arachne is really fun considering i have 2 tau purples for the energy sustain instead of energize. the mods on mag are slightly different because i run rolling guard instead of overextended to have an oh-shit button considering her range is already more than enough for 99% of cases. and instead of primed continuity, i dont mind slightly negative duration so i went transient fortitude there for even MORE power lol. but longer lasting bubbles / buffs are also super nice
I don't know what to say about the video because it's pretty much perfect. Just with the ability dps build though, I can't get away from beach surge on mag. For some reason armour strip+bubble+breach surge builds enough damage for the bubble to do hundreds of millions per tick and then explode for tens of millions
You can have 3 bubbles out so as long as you don't go overboard with duration they will detonate in a timely fasion, ejecting any caught projectile in random directions so you can catch and reuse your Nataruk "arrows" as long as you cast a bubble on another enemy caught in a preexisting one. Should you use plazmor or nataruk? Plazmor: approach enemy, bubble enemy, kill enemy ---> mod for low duration Nataruk: create bubble, nake it shine, watch as enemies walk in and die ---> mod for high duration
considering picking up mag myself to get the complete hex set does the xata's whisper felarx damage combo do funny things to her bubble? (as in, does the double damage dip it does with the 20x multiplier apply to mag's bubble damage absorb) if not, I'm sure a grouping tool like coil horizon will do something neat
After the armor rework, Polarize is much better on a high strength build. Refresh shields instantly, cheaper to cast, 1 hand animation, doesnt require an augment to be useful and doesnt keep enemies stuck around the map lowering kpm. High strength buff Magnetize dmg on the main target and allow you to run any helminth you want. Magnetize Breach Surge and Polarize are the Holy Trinity.
How is it just blowing them up at 14:24?.. mine doesnt do that, even with buffs.. what am i missing? Im also noticing IPS status is being applied, but the Tenet Arca Plasmor doesnt have IPS?
What about "Semi-Shotgun Cannonade"? Since we don't modify our fire rate and it adds 240% damage as well as punch through (although that isn't needed ig?)
I'd like to ask, Does the ricochet mechanic that mag benefits from the arca plasmor also apply to the latron incarnon? They both bounce but unsure if it counts the latron's again.
Depends on what you want to do with mag. You get a better interaction with her 3 subsuming nourish over her 1. But if you can't live without pull on mag, you subsume it over her 3.
hey! 2 things

Iirc, the change was it doesn't affect allies' drops. For the reason you mentioned, as well as potentially pulling drops into unreachable locations.
Well fortunately, if I'm understanding this right, there's no reason you can't have the augmented akbronco and the plasmor together
@@torunsmok5890 This is absolutely true! You can use them together if you'd like, it would be a devastating loadout for sure!
Another thing to mention for new players.. choosing Mag will get you through the junction boss fights super easily.. all you have to do it cast magnetize on them, and theyll kill themselves with their own bullets
Let’s gooooo thanks Kyaii! I’m loving this series!
Your guides are extremely complete. I'm gonna build 'ultimate' versions of my frames.
Starting with Meg.
Hi, would you mind sharing your build :) ?
sounds great, have u thought about using archon stretch to free up energy nexus for a free mod slot with a electric claws/sentinel to prod the 2e/s?
Farmed up a Tenet Arca Plasmor just for this build, thank you!
I need to try that
@@Vortex-5025no need to use her 3 when you’re using breach surge.
@@Vortex-5025it’s redundant because breach surge is broken as shit
As a Mag beginner for few month, i recommend to subsume her 3 into breach surge, it’s a better skills and buff her 2 so much, it’s also a better surviver skill, it’s has longer duration and better damage buff, also her 1 is incredibly more useful than the 3, if u want some enemies to be killed quick, or open them up for finisher, just cast that
Clever idea about Mag's passive.
Mag is the Meg of warframe, pun wholly intended. She's a neglected MVP.
every time i see a video from you about a frame i havent put much time into, i always know im about to learn so much more than i would from most other vids. plus ur super slick editing and streamlined explanations makes em engaging. deadass your mesa vid turned me into a diehard mesa main but that might change with this one haha
That's interesting, why do you wanna keep them in the air?
@trippytrev23 so they are not in the way if i wanna shoot different targets or if the tileset has multiple levels the hitbox of the pull is better and so i can make 3 msgnetic pillars in the air or chokepoints in defence missions or netracells
Happy to see some Magnetized Discharge love. A shocking number of builds ignore it and it drives me crazy. Really do wish they’d buff Polarize a bit though - I get it, back in the day it was a genuine problem (with its ability to literally nuke entire corpus tilesets) but I think they really overcorrected with it
I love these deep dives. Thanks for all your hard work man!
was waiting on this 👻
enjoy :)
Kyaii I fking love YOU !!! My fav frame and fav CC 🤍🤍🤍🤍
thank you for watching!
I was waiting for this video, recently built my mag and wanted to find THE PERFECT build. Knew you would pull through with it dude
Your videos have helped me understand the deeper information of warframe and inspired me to try frames I haven't yet or bounced off of in the past ❤ Definitely helped me get hooked into warframe and im in deep now 😅 I blame you (compliment)
I am using all of my Ayas for relics to get Mag Prime. Thank you for this guide ✨
Mag is my all time favorite. She is one of the best, even in 2024 Warframe.
I keep tryna say Mag is the best starter frame regardless of where you are at the game. I started with Mag, got my Mag Prime a few months later, and shes still my top 3 favorites to this day. She is just so comfy and practically unkillable if you're careful.
She is the generalist frame of the 3 starters imo
Also Aoi is such a lovely babe. I love everything about her
I leveled her years ago and only recently got the prime version. I was suprised how awesome she is! One of my favourite frames right now
11 years as a Mag main. I approve this video ;)
The penta/secura penta is another weapon that's rather amusing to use with Mag, no where near as strong as tenet plasmor but I personally find it funny,
the penta grenade inherently just stays around, doesn't detonate until u trigger it, and it does damage on contact too, so the grenade just stays in the magnetize bubble and keeps hitting them
Mag is my OG Space Ninja Jedi Wizard BAE 😂❤ excellent job explaining things here
Very nice video as usual. As a Gauss main it warms my heart seeing thermal sunder on different builds for some reason 😆
And oh my god the eximus I thought it was only me...I get all, ALL jade light eximus, especially in techrot underground survival it's in-fucking-sane I hope they fix it at some point
Enjoyed the video. Nice new editing style btw.
mag is a full package, cc, perma armor strip, weapon strip, disabling robot type enemies and jam weapons.... she also has basically a xata's whisper but BIGGER, prolly less powerful but still powerful.
Great video bro!!!
gotta get around to it lol
Do you mean only mod magnetic damage on the tenet arca plasmor? Why is that?
@@lostcursor6518 I mean magnetic progenitor. Cause it shreds over guard from enemy units. And overguard is pretty much only thing that interrupts you from doing whatever you want to do with Mag.
Other that progenitor element - feel free to go whatever your build needs.
>5. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF YOU RUN NATARUK - PICK BLACK ENERGY COLOR.
Nah fam, I'm here to create miniature stars in my little stellar forge.
(But I generally run that one solo)
(Generally 😈)
Can't wait for the rest of the Hex!
Always banger content from you, enjoy the holidays Kyaii!
yea, this one took a bitttt longer than usual but ill get the rest of the Hex out next month
Magnetize damage increase also apply with melee weapons and incarnon effects, like okina's daggers from the incarnon form.
This is your most well done video yet.
Hitscan weapons are best for maximizing Magnetize’s final blast. (Projectiles do direct damage to enemies and deprives the bubble of those ticks for the final blast) Low duration builds that use enemies for bubble fuels is great for “caterpillaring” and crate breaking.
Thank you for this bro, great job👍👍👍
been waitin on this one 🔥
1 Tauforged Emerald Shard is enough to make Polarize a permanent armor strip. Great for Corrosive Melee builds if you want a more engaging, quicker casting, cheaper shield gate style.
hello, im also a mag main, ive done multiple Void cascade lvl caps on her solo and in squad
in the first build, id say molt augmented and umbral intense is enough strength, u dont need blind range, can use prime flow or any other QoL mod
also mag refills shields with 3 and 4 so, aura can be holster amp, or worthy comradery for more damage, and arcane steadfast is also beter than energize imo (enrgize is not bad either)
the sunder build looks cool too ill try it :)
AND I FORGOT, KYAII, U MUST TRY PRISMA ANGSTRUM INC WITH MAG, it kills lvl cap with no galva stacks no armor strip, no priming, and JUST USING 2, in both incarnON and incarnOFF mode
Tried a few years ago and she was not that good but i had modded her wrong. Tried Tactical Potato's build for her after her mini rework and she is great. Lean into her shield gating and she is a tank with no helminth. She is that good.
She is honestly excellent, as a Limbo main would bubble with her any time.
You forgot to mention the breach surge synergy with magnetise. It just operates as a better version of the polarised shards
I been waiting for this to drop 😭
Loved the video
@@KingofGoblins1 Well ya know some people play public where there's more like 10 enemies on screen at once
@@KingofGoblins1 yo where I'm at in the star chart now there's mad enemies idk it works well for me when there's large groups of enemies
@@KingofGoblins1 I'm not really saying she's the best for the low level content but she's a great starter frame to carry you far into the star chart if you have trouble building other frames
great video, thanks
Too many people sleep on mag but shes super OP and my favorite and arguably the best starter frame.
Holy shit the quality of the editing
Theres a few interesting builds you can do with mag, if you use Trinitys helminth an enemy that's targeted by the bubble it'll make a continuous pull without breaking it when the enemy inevitably is reduced to atoms. Also breach surge crush and the bubble just makes funny number soup 🙃
You should also try out the Dread + its augment with her. Makes everything in the bubble bleed to death and you are invisible.
Mag's 2 has some interactions with other Warframe abilities you wouldn't expect, like Grendel's 4 and even Stalker's 4.
I appreciate the extra craziness of the Tenet Arca Plasmor.. but the Nataruk with a bright Energy color just gives you the power of the sun in the palm of your hand.. lmao.. and with Breach Surge, Crush, and Magnetize.. nearly any gun does similarly in action
another banger bro, surprised I didn't see a breach surge blast phenmor setup in here though.
fr my current mag setup is literally these but with a couple small differences, and i did like zero research on any of it lol..
Octavia plz, love the mag vid will try all the build thhanks
I don't know what to say about the video because it's pretty much perfect. Just with the ability dps build though, I can't get away from beach surge on mag. For some reason armour strip+bubble+breach surge builds enough damage for the bubble to do hundreds of millions per tick and then explode for tens of millions
hello. thanks for the video. 1 question tho. can the arca plasmor build work by itself or you need mag for this one?
9:21 There is a small one. Enemies inside Magnetize bubble have a chance to drop energy orbs when killed by Pull
The chance to drop energy is unrelated to magnetize. Just killed by pull 😁
@adrianl8429 oooo right, coulda swore xD
Aside from mag build, is the tenet arca plasmor build good for general use ?
You can have 3 bubbles out so as long as you don't go overboard with duration they will detonate in a timely fasion, ejecting any caught projectile in random directions so you can catch and reuse your Nataruk "arrows" as long as you cast a bubble on another enemy caught in a preexisting one.
Should you use plazmor or nataruk?
Plazmor: approach enemy, bubble enemy, kill enemy ---> mod for low duration
Nataruk: create bubble, nake it shine, watch as enemies walk in and die ---> mod for high duration
considering picking up mag myself to get the complete hex set
does the xata's whisper felarx damage combo do funny things to her bubble? (as in, does the double damage dip it does with the 20x multiplier apply to mag's bubble damage absorb)
if not, I'm sure a grouping tool like coil horizon will do something neat
After the armor rework, Polarize is much better on a high strength build. Refresh shields instantly, cheaper to cast, 1 hand animation, doesnt require an augment to be useful and doesnt keep enemies stuck around the map lowering kpm.
High strength buff Magnetize dmg on the main target and allow you to run any helminth you want.
Magnetize Breach Surge and Polarize are the Holy Trinity.
Greedy Pull is great for long term survival to optimize spawn rates.
I highly recommend Banshee's silence. It turns off eximus abilities. All of them.
anyone got a source for me, were i can read about the xata blast interaction or a video?
How do you feel about the breach surge builds that are out there ?
Tenet arca plasmor also force procs impact on top of everything
21:35 Plasmor is not able to headshot. I'm wondering if it still applies the cc boost
it might depend on if it has a hs multiplier of 1x, or if it just cannot, like aoe weapons
Finally my loving warframe.
How is it just blowing them up at 14:24?.. mine doesnt do that, even with buffs.. what am i missing?
Im also noticing IPS status is being applied, but the Tenet Arca Plasmor doesnt have IPS?
What about "Semi-Shotgun Cannonade"? Since we don't modify our fire rate and it adds 240% damage as well as punch through (although that isn't needed ig?)
we do, Magnetic Strafe and Reinforced for 100% more which is neccesary IMO
Does using freeze arc plasmor effect the build or not really ?
I'd like to ask, Does the ricochet mechanic that mag benefits from the arca plasmor also apply to the latron incarnon? They both bounce but unsure if it counts the latron's again.
not in the same way iirc
@@kyaii thanks! Loved your feature of mag in this series. Looking forward to more!
Dude, I thought I was the only one, EXIMUS EVERYWHERE!! I think they did something lol.
So what ability do you drop for nourish. New to the channel so I hope you can help me out here
Depends on what you want to do with mag. You get a better interaction with her 3 subsuming nourish over her 1. But if you can't live without pull on mag, you subsume it over her 3.
3:15 SUCCMUT MENTIONED RAAAAHHHH
The best boi
Slopman my beloved.
Mag was always my favorite to use but my build has fallen off. Maybe I’ll look back into her since I bought the Gemini skin
How about latron incarnon? Is it works worst then tenet plasmor?
Going off of experience, I feel like Polarize is better for resetting shield gating but otherwise this all sounds like good ways to run Mag.
bro ive been checking ur account everyday waiting for this video bro how long did u take 😭 (all love tho no diss)
first recorded footage for it on the 19th so about a week lol
Quick question, can we play as the Proto frames? I mean are there skins?
Yep, they are pretty expensive though.
what mods are you running on the panzer claws
Love the guide and vids! Mine toxin 56% arca plasmor or do i need to make new one with heat? >w
it really wont matter but to min max you should def get one with heat
I enjoy using Latron Prime with Mag
Can someone please explain why the arca plasmor needs so many elements when the bonus from galvanized savvy caps at 2?
the damage bonus stacks up to 2 times but the amount of statuses applicable is uncapped
@kyaii yeah makes sense, my mistake I just thought the two points were linked
