fkg fth why am i hearing this band until now, freaking super stuff. Like how i wanted Metallica sound like.
Its confusing. I like it. And it sounds really good. VERY good. But my natural ability to pick up on something fake, has also told me that something is not quite right here. As well as in the other vids I watched. There is some serious audio/video production happening here, to the point that I question whether Im listening to the actual singer that I am watching. He can mask it behind the hair, & clip to different camera angles, but I can still see it. What has confused me the most, is that, I think it sounds killer, & the parts are so well done, so tight, that I could actually learn the songs better from this, than I can from Metallica. Yet, theres still that one part of me thats picking up on something fake, & I wish I could believe that it wasnt.
let me help you out man, so essentially whats going on is this. They have a system of sorts that records everything that goes through their amps man. metallica does this same thing. so what happens is after the show they run the records through their studio stuff and re-mix it to perfection so it sounds very clean. probably live it sounds 95% like what we hear here, but what we get is a cleaned up version. its not fake, its just run through their stuff before they post it. all of metallicas live albums are the same way.

its a studio recording overdubbed on top of the live footage, his voice is way too controlled and clean to be in a live environment...
