Good video. In case others try the 60 amp ESC the mah used does not work. I was told needs to be 80 esc and higher.

Yes, unfortunately the 60 amp hobby wing does not support milliamps consumption, but you had all other telemetry. You can still set voltage.

As expert person who flown with ikon and vbar, I was wondering what’s different between those and which one is your favorite and why

Thank you! I greatly appreciate that. I am going to make a full video going over both systems and the differences. But! My main things that I like more about the bar than icon is the integration number one. The integration on the bar is unmatched from any system on the market today Number to the simplicity. The ease of set up on Vbar is just amazing! You can set up a complete helicopter in five minutes, no cables, no computers everything just done and ready to fly. And the Heli flys better on Vbar. A lot more connected and solid feeling in the air.

Not directly called out but I'd also consider the Santa VControl theme critical to the setup as well!

    Hello Jeff,
I am using the VBCe with Vbar Gov mode and have a HW 150 V5 esc. I have all my pro apps loaded and checked and no matter what I do, I cannot get the HW icon or the Fixed Battery icon to show nor can I set anything up without these items not being recognized. Have any ideas why this is happening?

Hey Robert, what software is in your Vbar NEO/EVO? Must be pro or pro/rescue to get telemetry. Is the Hobbywing updated to Vbar firmware?

@@westhobbiesrc8051 I have the Vbar Evo Pro Addition software installed. Yesterday When I turned on my radio, I received an automatic message saying there was an update. I updated to Firmware 7.1.154 and when I did, the Pro Rescue icon showed top on my main menu. I proceded to install it per your video. The only other icon on my main menu bar is the Pro temperature. The HW 150 V5 comes updated from the factory for the Vbar ready to use out of the box unless there has been an update to it. I have all my basic setting installed on my new heli, but I just can't seem to get the battery I.D., Battery Telemetry, and HW icon to appear on my main page because there is no place in my menu to select it. I even installed the wire (ESC to Vbar Neo) and it didn't help. I am not sure that a wire connection is even needed for the Evo. My telemetry menu in the Evo doesn't look like the menu for the Vbar Touch menu in the video on Mikado's Vstabi website. I even posted a call for help on HeliFreak in the Mikado Vbar Control forum and not much has resulted from that. The subject title for my request is VBCe and my handle is Willyboy. I am out of mind trying to figure this thing out. I appreciated any help you can offer very much.

Thank you for your reply. I am using the Vbar Evo Pro Rescue software. The only Pro Icon that I had on my main menu until yesterday's new firmware update (7/16/24) was the Pro Temperature icon. After doing the updated yesterday to Firmware 7.1.154 the Pro Rescue icon appeared on my main screen. I then proceeded to program it as per your vide. My HW 150 amp V5 esc came ready to use right out of the box for the Vbar. I even installed the connecting wire (ESC to Vbar Neo) as per your video without any results. and I am not sure that cable is need for the Evo using the HW 150 V5 version. I do not think there are any updates to the V5 version to my knowledge. I watched the video on Mikado's VStabi website many times concerning the Pro telemetry software. My Pro telemetry on my Evo doesn't have the same information the video shows using the Vbar Touch. It is different and not the same as on their website. I even posted a call for help on HeliFreak under the Mikado Vbar Control forum. My subject line was VBCe and my handle is WIllyboy and so far, not much has resulted from my plea. Under Archives when connected to my Evo, I see battery but it is grayed out. When I disconnect from the Evo it is available to click on and when I do click on it a blank page appears with nothing in it. Any help that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! It’s time consuming but well worth it. I use heat shrink on all my wires. 3/16in is the main size I use and I also use 3/8 and 1/2in. I also cut and shorten all the wires and crimp new ends to get the cleanest wiring possible.
