The French rider, 49, had been on life support at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast following the incident at the Dundrod circuit on Saturday. A spokesman said: "It is with much sadness that the Dundrod & District Motorcycle Club confirms that while Fabrice Miguet remains on life support, we understand that the medical expectation is that he has sustained injuries that are un-survivable. "The 49-year-old rider from Normandy, France, was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital following an incident at the Joey’s Windmill section of the course during the Superstock race at the Ulster Grand Prix on Saturday 11th August. "Our thoughts are with Fabrice’s family, team and many friends at this difficult time." Miguet was involved in a shunt during the fourth lap of the Superstock race, which led to the race being suspended for an hour, reported Belfast Live. Miguet - who was competing for the Kawasaki/ Optrimark Road Racing team - was a regular competitor at the Ulster Grand Prix and the Isle of Man TT. English motorcyclist Davey Todd was also left in hospital with sustained suspected fractures after a separate incident during the meeting. It saw the race red flagged after one lap. Manxman Conor Cummins also slid off while leading the restarted Superbike race as conditions started to deteriorate. Organisers took the decision to start the Lightweight/Ultra-lightweight class involving less powerful bikes but it also had to be stopped after a lap because of the wet conditions. The winners of Saturday's races were Dean Harrrison (Superstock) and Peter Hickman (Supersport). Shaun Anderson and Michal Dokoupil were declared winners of the abbreviated lightweight and ultra lightweight races.
