The Aprilia Futura really was an iconic design, still influencing bike design over 20yrs later, now with the 8R,and that's after both Triumph and Honda used it for design ques
The 8R looks great. I'm a bit miffed due to just having bought the Hornet. The NEC is a very dull, po-faced affair. Compare it with EICMA, and you will see how dismal PCUK has become.
I was hoping that Suzuki would fill big gap in their ADV range between 250 and 800. Perhaps a single cylinder v-strom 400 based on the current 250? Plenty of guys find the 250 is too small and the 800 is too heavy and expensive. Meanwhile the Honda CB500X picks up all those buyers.
The CB509X with a little longer travel suspension with wire wheels and a soft pannier setup would be the perfect round the world bike.,..I currently ride a dl650 and it's perfect for long distance just a little heavy.... problem is with single thumpers you will be doing a lot of motorway and they can get tiresome
Some good looking machines.
Yeah Suzuki are really on it!👍

What's the riding position like on the GSX8R? Is it somewhat Sports-Touring? or is it suitable mainly for 1 hour rides...
Sport touring, it’s less aggressive than the R7.
I really like the look of black 8R, but i heard that matte paint is pain in the ass to maintain
