I want to buy the mk3 pro but i dont know if is possible mute the preview of the instrument like when you select the space of the kick make a sound , i dont like that
im really bad in making a decision between options... i got the novation lauchcontrol for a good price and i wanna get the launchpad or curcuit . i really cant decide......
i just got the circuit and i'm still unsure if I should have gotten the launchpad pro instead, haha. It depends on what you need, for what i can see the CT is more versatyle as it has its own drum machine + 4 tracks for controlling midi synhts, 2 of them have their own internal synths. So you get more with the tracks, can process 2tracks of external audio and add fx and filter, which is great, tho I'm not a found of their filter sound. But as a dedicated sequencer only I think the launchpad is better as the grid size is beter for workflow, and i believe the sequencer is more advanced.
He starts with creating a beat. From 0:10 to 0:50. You see him hold a pad on the bottom row, and filling in red squares in the top half. That's the beat sequence creation. Only the sound samples are prepared.
Oh that was a while ago, I can't remember but if I am not wrong I've used here Ableton Live Drum Rack (with different samples) for the drums and Wavetable for all the synth parts
Can the full running live performance output be recorded into ableton in an arrangement view type of way? I love what you did here and the developmental flow of building and modifying it. Would love to just record it all as it happens linearly. Trying to take all of that and be forced to break it down into clips as parts and reassemble it later in an interesting way would be tedious and not achieve the same result.
Hey, you "print" out the different parts in to Live, but yes I guess you could also kind of record the midi out from the launchpad built in sequencer into Live as well
I do use it quite a lot! I just don't use it for my RUclips jams. The reason for that is that I don't feel comfortable to control it live with the buttons as "faders", I need to have real knobs or real faders to feel what I'm adjusting. But I do use it a lot with Ableton Live to sketch ideas. Its built in sequencer is super cool, and the control on Ableton live is seamless. I wanted to get the Live Push 2 in the beginning, but I was worried that a new one will come out and it still very pricey, so the launchpad gives me what I need instead to work on Live. To answer your question, since I don't have much available space, I store most of my gears in cases, and whenever I feel inspired to use one of them I will pull it out and jam around. I am not a professional musician or doing this for living, but I do wish I had the space to have everything always connected and available because I think it would make me use everything I own more often lol The Maschine and Launchpad are both great pieces of gears, and they both have their pros and cons, and they both inspire me differently like the rest of my gears. It inspires me to jump from one to another whenever I feel like, and it just makes it more fun for me :)
I did recently get the Akai APC40 MK2 (I've uploaded a few videos with it). It's a really cool controller, plenty of knobs and faders and designed really well in my opinion
@@voodoornb The game breaking issue is that the play button in the sequencer page runs the sequencer independently of a daw. You need to hit play in the session page to run it in sync with a daw. Rather nonsensical decision from Novation when LPP clock source is set to external.

Happy birthday
Hello Thanks for your work! Can you teach the process of making this type of sequences ? Embrace

Did you compose all these melodies and basslines on the spot or did you prepare these before hand? Really cool mix btw!
Hey, yes all composed on the spot. I am using here the built in sequencer of the Launchpad Pro MK3 for that. And thanks! 🙏

Which instruments are you using on each track?

Another option would be to simply record this as an audio track.
You could then resample and splice it, as needed.
Easy😍🔥
😊
You have not used the Launch pad a lot? Not interesting when you got the Maschina? What would be the most used hardware you got?

Not sure why all of you don't address the issue of standalone sequencer and DAW.
What issue are you having?

🙄😮🙀 Unbelievable!!! Who are you? 🤯
