2023 the year polyphia hired a new sound guy lol . They sound so good live lately, I mean they are always amazing but some of the live shows I saw in previous years had such a thin mix live. Whosever doing their sound live now is amazing
I feel that. I was so complimentary of how good the sound check was and their balance is spot on they sound so full it was a way better show than last year!
Saw them in Birmingham this week. Was blown away with how good the sound was.
Saw them in Denver last year. Honestly, the mixing and overall sound of the concert was incredible. Miles better than the trash ear-bleeding 130dB mix that whatever cracked out engineer on the Elton John show I saw had going. That was an immense disappointment.
Polyphia was a very welcome surprise to see how incredible they were in concert-- not just the excellent mixing, but also the incredible energy they put out.
You can tell how stoked Tim is after he nailed the abc riff. Love to see it 😭
Them shredding culture shock is EASILY the highlight of the show for me. It is far and above my favorite Polyphia song and I thought I had absolutely NO chance of them playing it.
