Hi I am making mine longer too. Can you tell me how many rows or shells you made yours? Is it multiples of 8 to make it longer? I am at 60 shells do I make 4 more rows to make it 64? what about the +2? I would really appreciate your help because I already took the border apart because the puff stitches didn't line up right. Try as I might I still keep getting only 16 shells, I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
That happened to me as well. Use stitch markers every 10 - 20 chains. Then keep them in as you're making your shells to make sure you havent skipped a chain. (I gave up on the back loop of the chain and am using the front loop. Just could not get it to come out correctly using back). Hope this helps.
I have just completed this beautiful blanket for my daughter who is expecting her baby in July, it came out so lovely and soft .I would like to thank you so much for your clear instructions without them I’m sure I would not have been able to create such a lovely stitch for the blanket ,your instructions are clear and I appreciate how you repeat instructions to ensure it is done correctly . I’ve enjoyed as a beginner making this blanket. I made it in cotton/bamboo. The final 3 rows have been hard. However I might stop end row 6 as looks beautiful
