      You can find the blanket if you go in to her complete list and I think it’s got a white bear on it. I was confused at first but look close to her description. I hope you find it. It is really beautiful! I’ve made two adult throws already. I’m on my third. Christmas gifts for some of my family. 😊

      Hi Crafty Paton, When you made this blanket after the first 4 rows, did you continue to end of 70 rows by just repeating row 4 to end or did you repeat rows 2 through 4 to end up to 70 rows? Thanks very much.

    • @craftypaton4195
      @craftypaton4195 2 года назад +1

      @@tracyoconnor2651 I repeated 2 - 4. That is what makes the pattern so lovely as it's not just straight shell, the lace effect is created by the chain stitch row. I've had trouble with the wool thickness am using AU 8ply and a 4mm hook.it measure correctly but the pattern seems quite open.

After crocheting a few rows, it was easy and getting faster. This is a beautiful blanket, and very soft. My second granddaughter is due to arrive in August. I can not wait to present this gorgeous blanket to her and my daughter.

      Susen Ross , hi . ( following craft crochet guidance ) the wool I used was ‘ Baby care’ by wool craft but I suppose any wool that’s soft enough would do . I practiced a little on some spare wool just to get the feel before I started on my pure white one . 👍
