Hey. I hope you guys enjoyed your trip to Goa. As a native Goan I'd like to bring to notice, Pork sorpotel doesn't use blood it's just a mix of different organs of a pig, it's one of the most popular dishes.
I've been to Goa a few times. The two best months are December and January. November and February aren't too bad. The rest are hot and humid and hot, wet and humid. Goa doesn't have seasons like spring, summer, autumn or winter.
Goa has a humid climate hence you feel very hot. Goa is famous for it's food because even in the smallest restaurants you get authentic Goan meals and at very reasonable prices. Red gravy (not sauce) does not always mean spicy because we have Kashmiri chillies that are not spicy but has a bright red colour. Bibinca has layers because each layer is baked at a time hence the lowest layer has the darkest colour. Hope you had a great time.
Yeah...i said it in the last video about how it was a mistake to go to Goa in summers because it gets way too hot and humid in the afternoon, although mornings and evenings are great, the Himalayas are better for summers, you guys could have explored Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh for summers..Goa is better after monsoons when it is green everywhere and in the winters
@@thebuddymoon we enjoying it, come back soon to india to explore north east parts specially sikkim & darjelling it is much cooler here then south or west india.
King's Beer Made of barley or maize, this light lager is found throughout the state. The King's Beer is unique in its taste that exhibits a smoky malt aroma. It's a drink to find only in Goa. You should try next time.
In Delhi you'll have high temperatures but the weather is mostly dry, right now you're in Goa which is coastal state and where you were humidity might be about 75% which makes you feel like it's way too much hotter than at same temperature at dry weather city.
During this season its very hot in Goa..December and January are the best time to visit there.. Anyway good to see you guys enjoying 🍺 🍻 in Goa. You guys have also reminded me that it's time I need to take a few days off and visit Goa and relax for a few days.. Cheers guys 🍺 🍻
Nice video. Goa is always a bit warmer but lately all of India (as much I wish it wasn’t so) spring thru summer is becoming even warmer. Most likely it’s so the country is burning a lot of coal for generating electricity. There are even high speed rails being developed to bring coal from eastern India to rest of the country & we need to switch over to solar panels as quickly as possible. Enjoy your trip
This vlog of yours has really made me nostalgic, i have lived in Goa for a year back in 2005-2006, and guess i used to stay near this same place and used to get daily needs from Khader super store.. And spent lot of late night partys at Johncy' s . Thank you for taking me down the memory lane.. Cheers 🥂
Dear, you can always able to customize your dishes especially in south India, so you can reduce spices specifically like, chilli or pepper so the chef will prepare for you. Give it a try .
summer season buddy and this is just beginning ,next month it will be more HOT. as local I'll just tell you EAT ,DRINK DRINK DRINK(WATER i mean😜) and ENJOY
Love the videos.. I was in Benaulim a few months ago.. You also need to try Chicken Xacuti and also Recheado Mackerel. Goa also has really nice beef croquettes and prawn puffs which you can get in most bakeries.. If you get a chance, visit Old Goa for that Portuguese vibe and Fonthinas in Panjim. And also Feni!!! Coconut, and Cashew if you're brave.
TruLy appreciated and thanks to you, Dan, for not forgetting "BaLut" of the PhiLippines🥚 Thanks a Lot for sharing and showcasing India's speciaLties in food and nature.
I have been binge watching your "India 🇮🇳 Series" recently.... I love you guys and ur travel vlogs... Since u guys enjoyed kayaking in Goa ...I am sure u guys will love an overnight stay in a "Houseboat in the Backwaters of Kerela"... Enjoy the the scenenary and the awesome food the place has to offer.... Looking forward to more such vlogs...☺️
A few more popular dishes from Goa are Chicken Xacuti, Prawn Balchao, Choriz pav, Beef cutlet, ros omlette and of course fish, alot of fish. Being a Goan I'm never bored of the food. I can have fish ever single day😂. Hope you enjoyed your stay
It is very hot in Goa. Hot food is great in hot water!!! Sorpotel, some say came over by way of the New World, Brazil although in Alentejo, Portugal, the dish is called 'Sarapatel'. It started of being a poor man's dish using the offal parts of the pig including the entire head of the pig. Like a lot of foods (including lobster which started being eaten by the poor) it eventually ended up being delicious and popular and enjoyed by all. It required a tremendous amount of work to prepare the dish, trying to get all the meat of the head of the pig, and the different stages of cooking before it is fully cooked. In Goan homes, it usually is a full family affair. Not everyone prefers to add port blood to the dish, some see it as a step too far. 😂 But excellent information on the dish. You really did your homework!
From March to September this is offseason in whole india no tourist activities going on because of Summer👒 and monsoon season 🌩️ from October festive season 🎆🪔🎉🕉️ will start this is the best time to travel all around india🇮🇳
What a lovely couple!! Your videos are genuine and addictive.. Hope you enjoy you stay in my Lovely Goa. You should try authentic Goan food like fish Thali/ Chicken Cafreal/ Pork Vindaloo/ Sorpotel in small Hotels around Margao city if you are in South Goa. These Beach shacks will fleece you and also the food served there is not that good. We Goans eat a lot of sea food and that something you must definitely try.
It’s usually sorpotel with pão. But chapati/ roti works too 👀 Ps: also, if you're still in goa don't forget to try sharks. Sonny did a video about that.
Hello friends, I hope you enjoyed foods in Goa. In India some cities are so hot and there are some cities in South India such as " Utti" an" Kuttralam" they are cold cities like Sri Lanka"s Ella and Nuwara Eliya
If you want to enjoy good non veg food in south, do visit Hyderabad city.. You will love it. It's also known as city of Biriyani but non veg food are also awesome.
Now to try shrimp balcho and a host of others, like goan sausage, cutlets. If you go to Kerala, you need to try cutlets, chicken curry (many types), parotta and beef, Kerala Fish Curry, Polichathu, chicken fry, mutton curry, appam (half bowl shaped) and chicken stew (mild, or chicken curry spicy), duck curry and kalappam,
Correct sorpatel my favourite but we don't use blood. The roti you saying it's actually it's called Tandoori Nann. I miss Goan food, probably going to visit my family for Christmas 🎄. Enjoy guys
summer has just began in India, so as u go south, it will heat up. But since u r staying close to sea, it will not have very hot air but bright sun. Buy hat to cover your head and drink lots of water. Delhi/Agar/Jaipur are capable of going beyond 45 degree cel. you visited these cities when summer was "getting ready to give a visit" . Enjoy ! FYI, during summer, people head towards north India hilly region, where weather so bit cool
As a Pakistani I fully support love and respect South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂. May Allah SWT bless South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂
I remember when Pedro`s had 4 tables, fish curry rice was r/s 10 and a lassi was r/s 4. It was 1985 though and Benaulim has changed a little since........
Good fish thali next time you visit south would be Ritz classic Benaulim. They dnt serve thalis in shacks, but can oder rice curry and fish separately.
Daniel you are mistaken reg the Delhi climate.Delhi has extreme climates. In summer Delhi go above 46 deg celsius.South India is not that hot or cold compared to norht India.
It looks absolutely delicious and has definitely been added to my bucket list.🍽 Can't wait to experience the flavors and culinary delights of this incredible place! 🇮🇳✨
12:00 Indo means India it combines with nationality adjective to form adjectives which describe something as connected with both India and another country like indo-tibet border indo-china trade indo-pak war....🙂👍🏻
Brother, Goa is not South Side of India You are travelling to Goa in Peak Summer Thali is basically is not a dish, it is an assimilation and small portion of variety of dishes. Please also try Poi bread with goan curries
My village is near Goa and even simple food like roti sabzi tastes heavenly there as it is slow cooked on wood fire . I had crabs and fish curry there I still remember the taste it touched my soul 💓💓.
What kills more than the heat in the South of India is the humidity not so much of the heat! Trust me when I say Delhi can get MUCH MUCH hotter, just that in the south, due to the coastal climate, due to high amount of humidity, the sweat doesn't evaporate. So you notice it more.
Love the vibes you bring along - you guys are my fav couple RUclipsrs from overseas and among the best I follow. That said, let me correct you guys that Goa is not in the South of India, but in the Western region of the country. Interesting to note that Danny is of Portuguese descent, but just to let you know you got the pronunciation of the second dish at Pedro's incorrect. I see that this video is like six weeks late, but all the same lip-smacking and enjoyable. I like pork, chicken too. My late Grandmother used to make home-made Bebinca and sell too. It is my fav local delicacy. Best wishes from Margao city (few kms from coastal Benaulim)
Pedros is the best place in Benulim. Last summer April 27 th my wife's birthday was celebrated. They played live birthday song. Pls try craps there they are tasty n juice

JFYI, South India does not have a spring season. It goes straight to Summer before the monsoons starts in June.
It's summer in India now. Winter is Oct to Jan. Rainy season is June to sept.
Summer is Feb to may. With April may being hottest.
It’s usually sorpotel with pão.
But chapati/ roti works too 👀
