What you can do for multi-unit metroliner is just add more west rail passenger cars to improve capacity without adding a entire another metroliner and making it super long.
look at the difference in loading speed between the 757 and DC-10. Might be a good idea to change to stop your planes backing up.

Fun fact: the metroliner was the American response to the Japanese shinkansen. It had to be speed limited because that very areodynamic front would cause pressure waves that blew out windows on trains it passed at full speed (150 mph)
Still think your High Point distribution centre would benefit from a direct connection to the highway if you can figure out how to got one in that jumble of roads and train lines to the east of it.
Dylan, the reason for the 757 is for the 10.0x loading rate compared to the DC-10's 1.0x. means your planes would turn around way faster instead of stacking up on the taxiway like they are now.
There is a need for the boeing at 37:00
It is 3 million per year cheaper in operating costs (15 million per year for all planes, enough to save you for another plane and a 11 million cost reduction)
and since you will be running 5 of them that will mean the line would become actually profitable, with the line losing 1 million after years of operation
who cares if the planes are full, as long as there isnt too many people waiting there, you will be fine

You can add the electric trains to the back of any train to keep the speed quality high
