In NA drug programs ex drug addicts are normally the counselors for addicts because they have experienced being an addict. They can guide them on what they need to do to become clean because they have been there. It's the same situation with KS trying to guide women on what they need to do to become married. He's been there twice. 80% of black women never get there which is a problem in our community.

I can't front. I've been married 6 years together 11. There are some notable points Mr. Samuels made that helped me be a better wife, woman & mom. The only thing I wished is the algorithm pushed more of the positive interactions Mr. Samuel's had with black women... every one has to take that walk through the valley in the shadow of death, so no it wasn't karma. Vivica while very successful is also single with no kids. Nothing wrong with it, I just always knew from a child that I was someone's wife!. So her advice I pass on. 💜to all.

Same! I definitely became a better woman which has now made me only attract men that want serious relationships that will lead to marriage instead of guys just looking to fxck! He also helped me with what questions to ask and what to look out for.. Soon to be married to my absolutely wonderful fiancé and then officially married BEFORE children! His passing wasn’t karma every person here on earth has their time to go. I didn’t always agree with his delivery on certain things but his perspectives weren’t always wrong. What Kevin Samuels gave us as a community was dialogue about relationships which have suffered sorely because of systemic, socioeconomic, feminist ideologies(which haven’t always benefit Bw), and so on. Advice is like a buffet you can take what works and leave what doesn’t. Some of his talking points gave me pause as a woman and certain considerations for potential relationships. The truth doesn’t always care about feelings. Women and men can learn a lot about each other if they start listening with an understanding heart.

I didn’t let that stop me from watching and listening to his videos. He was trying to make black families better and people just can’t see that because they get too emotional. He didn’t say that older women have no value in the dating market place; he stated that they have less value in the market place than when they were in their 20’s to possibly early 30’s. Many women in their mid-late 30’s and older with 3 and 4 children think that they can pull the same men as a childless, 20 something woman.

Kevin Samuels has been such a great help to me in my relationship. I listened to him for about 3 months and started changing how I approached situations with my boyfriend at the time. Well.... he's not my boyfriend anymore! We got engaged 2 weeks ago. This man was a treasure to the community because us women have not been holding ourselves accountable for decades and Kevin is definitely going to make you look within yourself. Women I advise you to watch a video or 20. I'm sure you will see yourself in many of the single black women he interviewed. Yes, the truth can be brutal but I think it pissed him off at how off the rails the women in our community have become. He wanted us to thrive together in a family unit and make each other happy in that unit.
