@@adraper30 I’m pretty sure you can connect an amp to it. It sounds great but if you’re batteries aren’t charged fully if you crank it to max it can’t handle the power. Max vol is I think 40 or 45. Even at 30 it’s pretty loud and sounds good
Do you have to have a dual battery set up for the pioneer 700? I've heard on the 1000 do you need the dual battery set up for your accessories because it can hurt your transmission and clutching because it gets low voltage and can mess things up.Was just wondering about the 700 if it does damage without double battery
I don't have dual batteries and it's fine. It would be better to have dual batteries with an isolator if you plan on listening to the radio with the engine off for very long

I have been watching your show and then buying stuff off the links from Amazon that you put on there. I ordered the accessory plug with the USB to install in the glove compartment. When I hook all this up do I hook the accessory plug-in that goes in the glove compartment.? To the aux-in cable on the back of the stereo? Please respond as soon as you can because I’m installing the rocker switch panel and the stereo and speakers same ones you got this weekend.

How did the roof fit with those speakers that you had mounted from the ceiling I have a 700-4 but I plan on getting those speakers and putting them in the rear back seat frame

Yes they have decent bass for the size.

Yes the usb / aux cable plugs in to the back of the stereo.

Yes. Roof is on. The boss speakers are excellent. Very crisp and get loud for what they are.

How did you get the radio to turn on with the key switch?
It's hooked into the accessory circuit which gets power from the 12v port under the dash, which is switched.
So would you say your radio is fully powered off your keyed accessory wire rather than the main 12v from the battery?
