All the time when Rob said "Alot of young artist tend to over detaling every possible square..." and I was looking in the mirror at myself and said "Yeah, I'm that guy" :/
Minty Hes spent a lot of time building up perspective fundamentals to be able to rough in those buildings! fundies are important practice so just keep working at improving and slowly you’ll gain fluency.
+The world of calebcreeper123 If you wanna do comic books, then just do those. I see a lot of people that want to be comic book artist, but they don't actually do them until they are "good enough". Big mistake....if you don't, you won't run in to problemsthat you need to run in to that concern comics.
Been following Rob's channel for a little while now, I highly recommend it. He's got some of the best tutorials available on youtube, and tends to be very responsive to questions in the comments section.
Another Awesome artist, I've been following for a loooong time! Robert's been mostly my main source for comic-wise tutorials and help, always helpful to answer any potential questions in his comments... A really great guy!
33:16 - "He's, a, the area of impact." Yes, he is. considering he's about to be impacted by the car.... Way to be subtle... You know what, not subtle enough, use the Sledge hammer.
Thank god for this! As a novice comic creator, I've been struggling with making impactful pages that are laid out clearly for the reader. Many thanks for this, Robert and Jazza!
Hi Jazza ! can you please tell us about " Song of the sea " ? how exactly was it made ? I can't find a making of. and Thank you for everything , we learn a lot from you !
Thank you Robert for a brilliant video. Just subscribed to you. Thanks Jazza introducing audience to other video makers. look forward to seeing the rest of the people you have lined up. Have fun on your travels.
I love that he is doing it in autodesk(sketchbook)because that is the program I use the most, even though I have Ps and Ai...I just find it counfusing how to draw the page and all the boxes and everything
Really enjoyed this tutorial, i am trying to make my comics look better, and just story telling better. Heading to your channel,,,thanks Jazza! Thanks, Robert!
27th commenter!!! 😝😝 Hi Jazza ☺️☺️☺️ you're a great artist and thank you for this video because I'm actually making a comic so this really helped me 😘 thank you to Jazza and to Robert 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I’m listening to this while drawing my own comic because his voice is helping me focus. Also i’m hoping i can learn how to panel comics within a few weeks because i’ve unintentionally given myself a timer lmao
What a conincidence lol wow. I have a final project for Econ and I'm doing a comic book and I check youtube, saw this video, I'm ready to go. I believe in destiny
34:42 I say one should rearrange the impact panel to the first panel on the left page (or right, if you want authentic manga). Then the reveal on what was happening would be more shocking and they person won't see it until they turn the page.
Hey Jazz! Can you recommend any video that mention of not just how to write comic book, but mainly how to one day, best advice to getting comic books publish? Thanks for all the video ;)
air gasps, you got a substitute like teacher. This kind of blows my mind with how dynamics of life that seems to work. too much math equation results for my head. Weird I never seen this as I was in high school. nvm about dynamics, it feels overwhelming though. Feels important to stay though. + why did people plan panels first then story? I thought people would planned on the making art first then fill it into the window frames.
All the time when Rob said "Alot of young artist tend to over detaling every possible square..." and I was looking in the mirror at myself and said "Yeah, I'm that guy" :/
Shiro fr, i surprise myself starting from complete scratch in the zone thoe
Angel V. Lol same
On the bright side makes for good cover pages
Its just too satisfying
Add me in this list
"Forgive my, Crude illustrations here."
*He says as he draws something that would take me an hour at least*

Surprising enough that this video came out right after I finished making my comic with a bloody marker... yay...
Novoyboy oh. That sounds really disappointing.. I just finished a comic with 64 pages.
Funny. I'm a creative story teller and would love to do a comic. I just can't draw XD
Did you murder them with a marker? this was posted 3 weeeks ago
