1:19:28 maybe it’s just me, but the way the blast from the sun expands and the accuracy of the shockwave is simply mind blowing. Even the hair blows to the side as the shockwave passes. It’s little details like that that just get me every time.

This is insane, 18 years worth of work and over 2,000 entries. This deserves so much more than just 1.6 million views for so much effort from so many people
There is no number of views, comments or likes that this video can receive that will ever live up to the 18 years of work put into it. Therefore the amount of views this video has is irrelevant and it’s your own inner reflection that counts. This video wasn’t made to rack up views, if it was, it could’ve easily been done with less work, this video is made as a masterpiece in itself, so the few people that stumble across it may appreciate it for what it is.
1:26:34 - 1:28:39 the cuts on beat to the music was really satisfying. gave those entries more unity, like the walking models were truly the same characters but in parallel universes.
33:10 Jesus heads to a unknown place where literal demons are going to, and lego characters, and people going through war, and people fighting to get there, and just a lot of different people in general
Gotta say, one of the first ones was my favorite. 1:30 It looks so out of a amazing game that I wish with all my soul for it to be real. Even from an epic movie. God, I really want something like that.
my favorite too so far, but honestly pretty horrifying. just imagine a creature that big with teeth like that actually existing though...but also whats up with the ribs sticking out like that, what happened to the meat? did it get blown up from the inside? did something eat that part? if so, was it another of the same species being a cannibal or something even bigger? eek
Quick message for every artist that participated, no matter if you didn’t see someone congratulate you or say your was his favorite, always remember that it will please to someone, maybe he will say it, maybe he won’t but everyone has his own taste and you will, and I’m sure of it, amaze someone more than anyone
Its a really good one, probably one of my favs of the compilation. Honestly i feel its kinda overdecorated too, gets pretty hard to see all of it in a few seconds when theres so much information around.
This is a TINY sneak peak in the mind of 2400 people who spent their time and efforts in this. Even though , constraint with their software, skills and computer rendering speed, each piece is unique and has a story in it own. Great job everyone and kudos to clint. Sadly i found out about the challenge too late in the process, but i will definitely participate next time :)
Everyone did such an amazing job on this, Not a single one didn't look amazing. These are all such beautiful locations too. It makes me wanna give my hand at it and try to make one even though I'm absolutely terrible at making art.
For a long long time i didn't think i was good at art but turns out if you put your mind to it and time to it you can make some pretty creative and cool pieces
Go for it and God bless you !!!! We will be here for you and God will be here for you as well ! Always :) Now go do what makes you happy, we know you’ve got this :) ❤️
1:20:44 is my partner Jordan's first attempt of any online challenge. He is self taught in everything he knows about rendering from watching youtube videos to tutorials. I'm so proud of his work and he is excited for the next one.
I found my render at 1:17:44 I’m 14 and I’ve had barely a year of experience with 3D modelling and animation, given more time, there is so much I would change, if you look closely, the head of the model isn’t even attached lol. Honestly I’m just glad I was able to get a render in on time, everyone’s submissions are absolutely incredible.
27:51 if you press either ' , ' or ' . ' you can go forward 1 or 2 frames, and there is 1 Spiderman frame that says "oops", idk what it is, but i love this
2:33:23 has to be my favorite. The giant approaching in the back gives such an ominous feeling, and as the animations were short, it left me wanting more.
2:42:33 HOLY ABSOLUTE CRAP! Looking at this with the music invokes such a profound feeling inside of me that I cannot simply put to words. It's so magical.
21:45 Yay, it's mine! And just noticed it appeared on the thumbnail, amazing! Probably the most low-fi entry, but here is a fun fact: It actually runs on original Game Boy hardware and has been captured from an emu lator. Mostly as a way to contrast all the amazing entries made in Unreal!
i like yours a lot but i just think a small detail to make is seem more realistic to me would be having the wood bridge move down quicker because it looks like it's delayed a little bit but no hate just trying to improve it in my eyes
wow, the music, the visuals, it brings forth so much emotion, like a glimpse into each one of the artist's soul regarding the "starting piece" you've given them. Very well done! Love this stuff.
I took way too long to realize that a big background sphere/circle was a part of the prompt, just suddenly noticed that they almost all have something in that exact part of the screen
It's gorgeous, but that's really something that happens "automatically" if you just configure a material in the scene to reflect, which you generally want to do with water!
He most likely used an HDRI image as the sky in order to capture that reflection detail for water surfaces. That's an easy technique. Either that or he modeled the background as well and incorporated a reflection-lighting technique.
Finally, someone who accurately recreated my grandparents’ walk to school.

I like to imagine that they're all heading to the same place.
I like that idea
yea and they are like '' no matter were u are we must join the meeting to discuss who asked ''
Final place where all models used in this are T-posing
Ah yes. Denny's.
33:10 Jesus heads to a unknown place where literal demons are going to, and lego characters, and people going through war, and people fighting to get there, and just a lot of different people in general

God, I really want something like that.
couldnt agree more, definitely my fav too
Me too
my favorite too so far, but honestly pretty horrifying. just imagine a creature that big with teeth like that actually existing though...but also whats up with the ribs sticking out like that, what happened to the meat? did it get blown up from the inside? did something eat that part? if so, was it another of the same species being a cannibal or something even bigger? eek

For real, the body language is on point

21:45 Yay, it's mine! And just noticed it appeared on the thumbnail, amazing!
Probably the most low-fi entry, but here is a fun fact: It actually runs on original Game Boy hardware and has been captured from an emu lator.
Mostly as a way to contrast all the amazing entries made in Unreal!
I dont know why, but maybe it being so low-fi made the animation look smoother than every other I've seen so far :D
was the "lack" of detail (doesn't mean more is good) intention or just the hardware restriction
Your one is simple.
Which is better than soo many artists trying add too many details and totally ruining it

wow, the music, the visuals, it brings forth so much emotion, like a glimpse into each one of the artist's soul regarding the "starting piece" you've given them. Very well done! Love this stuff.

29:15 The artist even got the water reflection what a legend.
i love the details
It's gorgeous, but that's really something that happens "automatically" if you just configure a material in the scene to reflect, which you generally want to do with water!
Cute lil fella just wants a burger
00:45
He most likely used an HDRI image as the sky in order to capture that reflection detail for water surfaces. That's an easy technique. Either that or he modeled the background as well and incorporated a reflection-lighting technique.
