- A man set himself on fire outside the courthouse of former President Donald Trump's "hush money" trial in Manhattan, New York City on Friday morning. Multiple witnesses watched and described the scene for reporters in the aftermath.
The man is in critical condition, identified as Max Azzarello, and apparently has posted a politically charged manifesto and self-immolated himself to make a political statement outside the courtroom.

As unbalanced and not together as he appeared to you, he certainly cared enough about your safety telling go to stay away knowing what he was about to do to himself to make sure it did not catch you. Now, the people you would find saner supporting Democrats don't do that. The unbalanced and not together ones, are known to target public venues, harming people but not themselves.

Poor man. His political offiliation is irrelevant - none of it made sense and he was clearly disturbed. This is a tragedy - this person should have been evaluated after he started showing warning signs. From what i have read about him he was a decent person that had a breakdown after this mother died, and sort of dropped off the map. Shame on the people calling him names, some of you may claim to be "Christians" yet you reject anyone you think is below you - and everyone is the same, if anything you are the ones going to "hell" for lacking empathy and humanity. If you can't feel for someone with mental health issues then you have your own psychotic issues. Condolences to his friends and loved ones, it's very sad and I hope that some day mental health is taken seriously in this country!!

Regardless of this young man’s political points of view, what he did to himself was extremely disturbing. My heart goes out to his family. So very sad.
