I just got a rave party 2 from Ross for $79.99 and dang this thing bumps. Its gonna be my new bedroom entertainment speaker and outdoor music speaker. I know my mom has a jbl partybox on the go but this soundcore goes head to head with the jbl.

2025 and just found out about Souncore. Returned some JBLs I had over these. Awesome review, brotha. ✊🏽
Rave party 2 took my top spot for under 200 from the tribit blast.... They're. 199 in all walmarts and149 for The rave neo 2 in all their stores but online show 229 and 179 . Floss be nice to see ya review their space 45 over ear headphones.. They're on sale for 99.99 at best buy and they smoke a ton of others like momentum 2 and studio 3 have typical kickass soundcore sound bit what really REALLY surprised me with them is how phenomenal their anc and transparency modes are plus some of best battery life on any set of over ears

@TurboJobo I'd go with neither I'd go with the tribit stormbox blast for that 179 or less category but for 199 I'd go with the rave party 2 but just seek the blast was 159 at amazon

@TurboJobo that's understandable man. My thing with the boom plus tho is that that fn speaker no matter how id eq in customer. Settings or pre set eq at 80 percent or more volume it would distort amd the sound would totally go to shit and be a muddy mess. I currently own 4 sets of soundcore earbuds 1 set of headphones and my issue with their boom then the boom plus amd even the rave + was the distortion and the rave + sounded horrible if you'd try to do custom eq so in these categories a speaker I absolutely loved the wking lineup the d9 then x10 then d10 but if you're totally set on usb type c charging than I'd give the rave neo a go... the only speaker from soundcore that really blew me away has been the rave party 2 but I have not bought the other one here flossy is using but I'd Def bet it beats the boom plus and lot of others for sound. Lastly if ya get at a local Walmart they're 20 dollars cheaper in store or 30 cheaper for rave neo 2

@@JohnDoeTheBagMan it's not about calming down. It's a question. I know it is probably not the best sounding speaker, but because a speaker sounds better, doesn't make it better for everyone. The Diamond Box definitely sounds better, but I'm not paying that money for it. More than likely, most others will not pay that price either. I'm just saying that for the price, sound, features and app, it deserves more than a single major go.
@@michaeldextermonroe8548 if you know it's not the best sounding speaker, then why would he rank it basically a 10? That makes no sense, a "major go" means it's about a 7, which is fine for a cheap speaker that can't compete with a JBL of the same size. If these was a triple major go and so was the the JBL partybox, that would mean they sound the same, which they definitely don't.

Just get an mick with aux. then buy an adapter from 3 to 6 mm Jack and that’s all.

Great ❤ review, Flossy! I’ve had many different brands of Bluetooth loudspeakers in the last 10 years. Even big names like Bose and JBL. Currently, I own an very affordable Soundcore 3 speaker. It’s compact yet powerful. I was surprised how loud it can go and still sounding crisp and clear! Build quality is also good. I’m looking for a secondary Bluetooth loudspeaker, and these Rave Neo 2 and Rave Party 2 could easily be one of my choice. Thanks 🙏 for your no nonsense straight to the point review!

Walmart clearanced both in my area. Picked up the Rave Party 2 for $50. Did not pick up the Neo 2 though because it was $75.

The rave neo 2 is a bit tgh tbh at 180$... the rave neo was like 100$ and for 40 bucks the other one is a way better purchase i think... still soundcore is killing it cause the sound and the app are amazing. Still rocking my rave neo to this day
The price usually drops especially at Walmart the rave party 2 is 180 bucks but it has been 7 months so maybe that's why the price dropped
