Highly suggest upgrading to the rave partycasts, it's the mini rave but with TWO subs, I got two of them, and they get louder than my JBL Party box 300 over all. Obviously bass is not near, but it's very damn good bass, all the way up. The two paired is insanely loud. And clear at all levels.
Only reason I say that is because I started with two minis, but my buddy convinced me to get the next level up. It's amazing. Two 80 watters together, makes 160 watts, same as this big one in the video. And way easier to handle and carry.

Hey I bought this speaker and it sounds really good but I noticed that you get the full 160w only when plug in to a power source. Guess it's to make the battery last longer why it won't put out the full 160w. Awesome video man

Thanks for the review! I have the soundcore rave mini, claiming 18h battery life, which, I can tell you on full volume is at 6-7 hours of battery. I think 18h are at mid volume where the sound is nowhere near enough for more than 4 people. I may trade the rave mini and get the rave, hoping it’s more powerful and more battery lasting than the mini. However, I’ve used the mini in the sea, and it is truly waterproof. This one is splash proof.

@@caseyrensel716 hmm i got the partybox 100 and iz has better bass treble and overall sound and i think it is as loud as the rave. I dont like loud sound which isnt sounding good. I got the soundcore motion+ which is nice but the rave isnt one i would buy from soundcore

Over time I've tweaked the eq to get better highs because they were lacking, and I think it sounds pretty good for the price, which it definitely Excells at price vs the partybox, and I mean at the end of the day my home theater or my LG is what I use to listen to high fidelity music, not the rave cuz it's a party speaker. I just think you can't get better for the price, don't get me wrong I love jbl and hey have great sounding products I was just looking for something cheaper to be able to throw around at partys
@@caseyrensel716 yea maybe for the price it the best but i would rather spend 50+80 bucks mroe to get a better soundsing speaker. the partybox 100 is about 230 euros here and thats definately nothing for what it offers. the partybox just sounds so much better than the rave that its definately worth the extra money. also you buy partybox maybe once in your life or once for 10+ years, so spending 160 euro or 230 pretty much doesnt matter at all. at least for me. but it depenfs on your budget for sure. for me the soundquality is more important, at least nice lower bass and clear sound, which the partybx offers and the rave not really. high fidality is a different topic for me, for indoor listening I for sure have a hifi system, not an outdoor partybox.

I got it last night and torn between keeping it or returning . Sounds good but feel like it could be better and wondering if I'm paying 245 bucks after taxes for sound or light show? I'm 39 my kids think lights are cool but I strictly want the best sound and bang for the buck!!! Wish more info was available to show specs between original and new plus model but know if I go to custom eq which it's compatible it sounds horrible no matter how I eq it so instead I keep it on soundcore signature and then go to adapt sound in note 20 ultra and hit the under 30 which boosts the highs
