    Brandon's fingering game is definitely strong. I have a Titan jack and it's a great thing to have in my gym. Just not down with using my nice and expensive calibrated plates to lift weights. The dead wedge is another nice cheap too as well.

      Agree, I started with the dead wedge way back when!

    I also store my genesis jack pro inside down on the wall or on the gun rack

    I shipped my genesis jack to a Facebook marketplace buyer as I replaced it with the Genesis Pro jack. I love that it sets a little higher and I don’t have to bend over to place it like the smaller brother. I just lean it against a storage rack that is behind my deadlift platform when storing. It isn’t in the way since my bumper plates are on that storage rack. I have other plates on my power rack where I squat and bench.

    Thanks for the review! I personally have used this with a power bar (garage floor) and it would tip on me several times. If you are walking around the bar loading plates and you accidentally hit it, it can tip over as it happened several times with me. Might have been the garage or a slope or not being totally level but it happens (mainly if I have an eleiko platform that is not totally firm and as long as the legs stand on the wood).
    It is very easy to move around and light and you can store it on your gunrack but Id rather have a heavy one that wont matter if I hit it rather than having all the weight fall on me.
    If I wouldn't have bought the Ghost, I would've bought the one from Black Widow which you can customize it with the "Naked Man".

      In the 4 years I've used this I haven't had it tip when loaded. Maybe I should make a video tutorial on how to use it? 🤪

    Yeah I was going to make one like this once you get about 600lbs on there with a DL bar ie Kabuki or Texas the plates are gonna touch the ground. But I don’t have any comp plates

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  11 месяцев назад

      Good all, less comp plates prob before the sag impacts it since they're wider.

    I use the old BOS full jack in my BOS light commercial rack, for space reasons. It all fits. One thing people should be aware of the forward/backward space needed lifting the weights with the jack. Plate storage, etc may get in the way. Having said that, I was happy with my $50can purchase.

  • @twistedbarbell3950

    Nice and looks like a great jack! I definitely need to upgrade to a full jack now that I'm using calibrated plates with tighter tolerances. I do love their genesis jack, so this one seems like a no brainer.

    Any experience with Blackwidow's? The removable handle intrigues me, considering my unhealthy addiction to buying equipment. The space it would save storing it when it isn't deadlift day seems invaluable. I haven't seen anyone else offering that feature.

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  11 месяцев назад

      I have not used it. I don't imagine I would ever remove the handle, so while a nice feature, not sure it serves much purpose.

  • @ExpeditionaryRanger

    Very nice . Now I must go deadlift as soon as supper settles. I just have a cheaply Bells of steel jack, but it’s been one of my favourite additions to the gym. Just makes deadlifting oh so much more enjoyable. And it does fit inside my rml-490 when the wife and I are deadlifting simultaneously on my 8x8 platform. I have heard the rogue jack doesn’t, such as from coops vid of Reynolds’s strong gym. Can anyone confirm? Does the rogue jack fit inside a rml or ml rack?

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  11 месяцев назад

      I think this is going to depend on which rogue deadlift jack you're looking at, and which rack you have. RML is 43" wide, total width of Rogues basic full jack is 42". So I assume it would fit. My question would be is the width from cradle to cradle, or is it from foot to foot.

    My basement is pretty small. Can you do a RUclips short showing how it would work to just use 2 genesis jacks, one on each side. Is it stable enough to load up even without the bar securing both Jack's together?
